Nice price, but how good could this really be.
looks interesting
awesome blue!
Its a good thing I read this first!
I'd stay away from this design (the "Fireman's Pump" is another one like it; mine was black and had some other silly name). I threw mine away. At high pressure, leaks appear where the hose meets the cylinder (I wrapped rubber bands around it but it didn't help); where the hose meets the metal valve; and where the metal valve meets the squeeze-bulb; and, to a lesser extent, at the valev knob itself, and at the metal end on the bulb.
The fundamental flaws are the release valve (which adds points for leakage and isn't even necessary anyway if you get a pump with a thumb-hole), and the hose, which is almost like wiring conduit without the split down the length (electricians will know what I mean). Meaning it's not really a proper hose.
I'm going to try the purple "E-Z Pump" which has a thumb-hole release and what looks like a proper hose. It looks unlikely to leak where the hose meets the cylinder, but if it does it will be much easier to fix. My only concern is how the hose attaches to the bulb, but I'm going to give it a shot at only $15.
Don't waste your money on this one. The suction is minimal and doesn't hold it long either.
