Best use:
Stretchy cock rings are probably the most prevalent available because they are inexpensive and easy to use. The Round Dot Cock Ring holds a bullet vibrator at the top and has a ‘dot’ (hence the name) protruding from that section of the ring presumably to provide your partner with some clitoral stimulation. The vibrator is wireless which means it runs on batteries (in this case small, button cell batteries). The vibrator is easily removed for cleaning or if you want to use the ring without it. To use it, you just stretch the ring and put it where you want it. If you want to really restrict blood flow to your penis, put it behind the testicles. If it is too tight there, it can be used just around the shaft as well. Push the button on the vibrator to get it humming and you’re good to go.-

The ring of the Round Dot Cock Ring is made of TPR and is a single piece molded into the ring and vibrator sleeve. The vibrator sleeve has the dot mentioned earlier protruding from the front. The material is primarily smooth, but there is a bit of texture along the inside top of the ring. This texture is not noticeable during use. The exterior of the vibrator is clear plastic so the innards are visible. This is pretty unusual and the inner nerd in me was fascinated with the small pieces visible within the device.

The bullet of the Round Dot Cock Ring is mounted horizontally which is the most common orientation amongst cock rings. It doesn’t necessarily line the vibrator up well with the clitoris, but the diminutive size of the vibrator in this case kept this from being much of an issue. The ring is relatively thick and does not have the give of some stretchy cock rings. This can be good and bad. The bad part is that it takes a little more effort to get the ring in place and some guys (particularly the well endowed) might be a little nervous putting it behind the testicles where it will be most effective. The good part is that it does a better job of restricting blood flow which is really what a cock ring is all about. The vibrator sleeve is substantial enough to hold the vibrator in place well during sexual activities.

There is only one control on this toy which is the single push button on the bullet. It is a simple single speed bullet with no variation in vibration (unless you count weakening as the batteries run out). The package includes four batteries which seemed strange as most devices of this type use three at a time, but this bullet uses only two, so Shaki provides two sets, which is nice. The vibrations are pretty good considering the size of the bullet, but the two batteries don’t last all that long and they aren’t the most common size of button cells.

Care and Maintenance:
Hot soap and water or toy cleaner should be used to clean the TPR and plastic of this cock ring. These materials cannot be sterilized, so this toy should not be shared with multiple partners. The TPE of the cock ring is waterproof, so cleaning is simple there. The bullet is splash proof, so as long as the battery compartment is fully closed, cleaning the exterior is pretty simple. It would probably be okay underwater for short periods, but a full bath time session might not be a great idea. The TPR is a little sticky, so rinsing it well before use is probably a good idea to make sure it is nice and clean. A bit of lube when putting the ring on might make things easier particularly if it is going behind the testicles.

The packaging of the Round Dot Cock Ring is a thin plastic case, meant for hanging, with a cardboard insert. There isn’t much information about toy usage on the insert, which is less than stellar, but at least the pictures are discreet. Some cock ring tips are not to exceed 30 minutes of continuous use and to wait a minimum of 20 minutes between sessions.

Experience:
My partner and I have tried out quite a few cock rings over the past few years. Some definitely do their job better than others. This particular ring falls sort of in the middle of the pack. The dot provides better stimulation than other rings we have tried in this category. The lack of battery endurance is a problem, and the use of non-standard batteries compounds the issue as we don’t have replacements on hand unlike the larger button cells and ‘N’ size batteries. We could use one of our other bullets in it as the material stretches, so that is a consideration since the ring itself is pretty effective, but that will increase the bullet size and hence its interference. We’ll see if the button is still able to get where it needs to be.
My partner has enjoyed more aspects of anal play recently. She discovered she liked the stimulation the vibrating dot provided to her anus while we were in the “doggy style” position. This was an unexpected surprise and improved our opinion of this ring.
