Predicament Play

So today we will talk about some more advanced predicaments you can place your submissive in. All of these require the use of an electrical box so you can combine electrical play with your predicaments. Basically there are devices that take advantage of the fact that electrical stimulation causes interesting sensations ranging from pleasant to painful.

If you are unfamiliar with it check back and I will likely write an article about it. There are toys such as a TENS unit, which is actually a medical device used for muscle relaxation, that are utilized. There are also specially made devices for BDSM. There are some additional risks with electrical play, but if done properly it is very safe. These more advanced predicaments utilize electricity. They do require more knowledge, more set up, but also have the added benefit of some very interesting and unique scenarios.


1. You have your submissive stand on their tiptoes. Under their heels, you place a switch or a metal piece. This switch or metal piece, when pressed, completes a circuit. The circuit causes electricity to flow into the submissive and they get a shock. So the submissive has to choose between a strain on their toes or getting shocked.

2. You attach nipple clamps to your submissive’s nipples and you run them over a bar and add weights. You have the weights resting on a switch. When they are resting on the switch it turns on an electrical device and the submissive gets shocked (either with pads, or an electric buttplug, or a cockring, or any electro-toy desired.) The submissive then has to choose between pulling backwards against the weights (causing them pain as they pull on their nipples) or resting the weights on the switch and having electro stimulation.

3. You place your submissive in a cage. Preferably one that has relatively cramped quarters. Then you run an electrical current through the bars. You would have one area with a plastic mat or a towel. This would be the one area the submissive can stand on without getting shocked. But eventually your submissive’s muscles will get sore and they will stretch them. If, in the process of stretching, they touch the rest of the cage they will get shocked.

4. Have a metal pole between your submissive’s legs. This pole will be horizontal to the ground. So your submissive’s groin is perpendicular to the bar. When your submissive has their feet flat on the ground their genitals should rest on the bar. When they are on their tiptoes their genitals should be above the bar. The bar has an electric current running through it, so every time the submissive relaxes their toes they get a shock.

5. The submissive is restrained and positioned in front of the motion sensor. The submissive has inserted a butt plug and a vibrator (for a female) for a male they have a butt plug and a Hitachi magic wand with a sleeve attachment on it. In both cases the plug, and vibrator, and wand should be supported so they do not fall out/off. The submissive’s predicament is that as long as they remain completely still the device will keep the vibrator/wand running and this will eventually bring them to orgasm. However should they move, even fractionally, the device will stop the pleasurable stimulation and punish them with shocks from a TENS unit (or any other electrical device). After a pause the vibrator/wand will start again until of course they move and are once again punished. The concept behind this device is that the combination of the bondage position and the victim's increasing arousal will make it almost impossible for them to keep still long enough to reach orgasm. As soon as the victim moves, the motion sensor detects the movement and immediately switches off the vibrator. The device then waits for twenty seconds, to allow the victim to savor the anticipation of their impending punishment, before activating the TENS unit attached to the anal plug. The butt plug then punishes the victim for moving by shocking them for 30 seconds; the degree of pain can be set by adjusting the TENS unit. After the plug has been deactivated, the victim is then given sixty seconds to recover before the vibrator is switched on again. The victim has a further ten seconds to get completely still before the motion sensor is re-enabled and the cycle starts again. You could also do this without a fancy motion sensor (that would require a lot of knowledge and work and effort, but would be an amazing toy). You could simply use the vibrator on your submissive and every time they move you turn it off manually and turn on the TENS unit manually. This would take more effort on the dominant’s part, but is also far easier than creating the above system.

So with all these positions, the dominant can make them harder by being involved. They could use an impact toy to make your submissive involuntarily move. You can sexually stimulate your submissive so they relax and “punish” themselves. You could also make bets and deals with your submissive. For example if they hold position A for 5 minutes you will allow the predicament to end (this being hard because switching between A and B is easier than holding A for a long period of time). You can add other toys such as gags, nipple toys, clothespins, anything to have some distraction and make the scenario more difficult. You can play with yourself and get off in front of your submissive to taunt them that you get sexual release whenever you want, but they do not.
