However, you’ll want to be aware that McDowell’s performance was part of a weird tirade in which he mouthed homophobic slurs and perhaps threatened a few San Francisco Giants fans at a game on Saturday.
Yesterday, attorney Gloria Allred held a news conference in which she gave the details of McDowell’s performance and demanded that he apologize. According to Allred's account, McDowell first said to three men in the bleachers, “Are you guys a homo couple or a threesome?” McDowell, she said, then simulated a sex act using a baseball bat and, while thrusting his hips, asked, “Are you three giving it to each other up the ass?”
According to Allred, this is what McDowell did ... except, as she says, he was “doing it with his other hand.”
McDowell apologized today, saying, “I am deeply sorry that I responded to the heckling fans in San Francisco on Saturday. I apologize to everyone for my actions.”
