No one expects FBI agents to be perfect, but they’re supposed to be very, very good.

That’s why the top law enforcement agency in the U.S. is reeling in the wake of a CNN report that offers details about agents sleeping with sources, watching porn at work and searching files for the addresses of hot celebrities. CNN obtained confidential summaries of FBI disciplinary reports which describe misconduct by agency supervisors, agents and other employees over the last three years.

How does the bureau handle disciplinary problems? In a number of cases, it seems like it might be harder to get fired by the FBI than it would be from a lot of other places. We’re thinking, for example, of the supervisor who viewed “pornographic movies in the office while sexually satisfying himself” during work hours. He got a 35-day suspension.

Fair? Not fair? CNN doesn't give us the circumstances. Was he watching cell phone porn in a men's room stall, or was it up on the big screen in the conference room? One thing for sure ... Efrem Zimbalist Jr. would not have approved.
