An advertisement for the Renault Twingo has been deemed "too racy" and banned from Italian television by the TV RAI (a state owned public service broadcaster) and Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. Good for them, say some LGBT groups, as they feel the ad is disrespectful to lesbians.

The ad opens on a party in an elegantly designed living room. A beautiful brunette catches a sweet blonde's eye across the room, and both leave the men they were sitting with to meet up in a bedroom not far away. Once there, the brunette tugs her adorable pink top over her head and drops it on the floor. Then she climbs on the bed and tugs off her pants. The blond blindfolds the brunette, frantically searches for the pink top, and makes a mad dash for her matching Renault Twingo, leaving the brunette wondering what happened.

Though it is a car ad, the car isn't seen until the blonde leaves the party, and there is no mention of anything about the Twingo specs whatsoever. Miles per liter? Acceleration? Safety? Nope, not a word.

While we're not sure this ad is disrespectful to lesbians specifically, so much as twenty-something women in general, one thing's for sure. It's definitely hot! Until you get to the car part.
