We're thinking this fella takes his job just a little too seriously. His name's Anatoly Moskvin, and he's a Russian historian. He speaks 13 different languages, has visited more than 750 graveyards and is considered by some who know him to be a bona fide genius. And he's been collecting the remains of dead women in his apartment.
“During an investigation into grave desecrations, investigators detained a male resident of Nizhny Novgorod and found more than twenty skeletons he had apparently dug up and brought home,” a police official told the RIA Novosti news agency.
Moskvin was living in an apartment with his parents. While they were on vacation, he began hoarding skeletal body parts of deceased women ages 15-25. But he didn't kill them! (Thank goodness for small miracles.) He let the world do that. Instead, he dug up the remains of women who were already dead. And he dressed them up like dolls and kept them in his home.
When Moskvin's parents returned home, they discovered more than 20 doll-like female skeletons littering the apartment, and notified the authorities.
So far, Moskvin has not been charged with anything but is undergoing psychological evaluation. Yes, we think that’s a good idea …
