Great Sex Comes Naturally
Oftentimes, people seem to think that sex is a natural ability that everybody possesses and learning how to have sex comes easily. This is absolutely not true.

First and foremost, human anatomy is complex. There is a lot going on concerning your genitals and other erogenous zones when it comes to nerves, blood flow, and structure. I do not think any man who has never seen a vagina before can point out with certainty what the clitoris is. Or any woman who has never seen a penis before can point and say what the glans is. It takes time to learn the anatomy of both yourself and your counterpart. And that takes time and is far from intuitive.

Now even though everyone has the same basic anatomy, people feel differently about them. Some people’s clitoris is too sensitive to stimulate directly. Some woman have no sensitivity in their nipples, some men have lots of sensitivity. There is so much inter-personal variation that even if you are familiar with the anatomy of people, it does not mean you are familiar with each individual person’s anatomy. They might be very different in how they feel and respond to touch.

Then comes height. Sex is further complicated by the fact you need to physically insert a penis into a vagina (or insert a penis into an anus, or rub two vaginas together, etc., etc., whatever you are trying to accomplish). This is complicated by the fact that your height, body shape, weight and build change how this happens. If you have a couple who has a large height difference, they tend to initially have trouble having sex, just because it takes some maneuvering for both of them to get comfortable.

Then comes inter-personal preferences in how they want to have sex. Lots of people have fetishes, such as liking bondage, or anal sex, or liking dirty talking, or watersports, or want a D and S dynamic. Each one of these activities is unique and has safety and technique associated with it. Sex is so much more than just penetration and there are so many unique things people find sexually attractive. So on top of people responding to touch differently, you have to know what they want done to them.

Overall, sex is just a complex act that takes a long time to learn and changes each time you get a new partner. So if you ever feel like you don’t really know what you are doing, that is extremely reasonable. Sex being an easy act is a complete and total myth.

Men Want Sex More Than Women
I have often heard it said that men only think of sex and constantly want to have sex, and that women rarely think about sex and rarely want sex. This is simply not true. There is no gender that inherently wants sex more frequently and think about it more often than the other. There are men who are asexual, there are men who like occasional sex, and there are men who want frequent sex. The same is true for women. Both genders have large variances in how often they want to have sex. And the only way to really know is to ask an individual person how much they want it. There is absolutely no way to tell by looking at their sex.

You Can Catch An STI From A Toilet Seat
STIs are caused by bacteria and viruses. These bacteria and viruses require a human being to live, and many of them die very soon after leaving the body. They also typically reside and are transferred in bodily fluids. A toilet seat just does not meet the conditions to pass on an STI. Typically a person’s genitals do not touch a toilet. A toilet is too cold and doesn’t have the nutrients bacteria and viruses need, as the toilet seat is not coming in contact with your genitals. There is simply no way that under normal circumstances you could catch an STI from a toilet. So if a partner ever tries to pull that one over on you, it is very likely he/she gave you an STI, or you had one that was asymptomatic. Oftentimes, you can have an STI for days to months before symptoms show and you realize you have one.
