Why AIDS is Still a Big Deal

by Pandora'sBox

I've heard a lot of people say, "AIDS just isn't a big deal anymore." Thinking on this, and the approximate 34 million people who are living with it worldwide (and that's just the people who KNOW they have it), I want to know why anyone would say it's not a big deal anymore. It is to the people who have it, and it will be a big deal for those who don't know when they find out. And it would be a big deal for those who don't have the money or insurance to cover the expensive costs of AZT.
