I also find myself wondering if women watch porn. I am a member of fantasti.cc and I can tell you women are well represented there. As much as I feel confident in my acceptance there, I feel that I could not talk about this to my female friends. They do masturbate because I have gone shopping for toys with them, however I highly doubt they watch porn. I used to think porn was just for guys and when I started using it to get myself off, I soon realized there was something in it for me too. It is fairly difficult for me to find porn that I can get off to though; sometimes the focus is too much on the woman’s facial expressions than on the sex as a whole. This is probably the porn geared toward a guy. I very much enjoy hardcore porn and hardcore sex with my partner, however this type of porn does not always do it for me either.

Much like sextoyreviewland, I enjoy more down to earth porn. However I do not like back-story, especially if I just want to get it over with. I gravitate more toward armature or home movie style. I hate exaggerated, fake, over dramatic sex with women who are too perfect. Most girls are not going to look like that, sorry. I find myself turned off very quickly when I see an overly perfect woman faking an overly perfect orgasm. I myself am a little self-conscious about my looks just because I do not look like anyone else, but still it makes me feel as if I need to be perfect in every way to please a guy, which is not true. I am not necessarily a big personality person but just like when you can tell someone is faking a smile, I can tell when someone is acting to make money. I am sure some guys prefer realistic sex scenes as much as ladies do, and I am sure some ladies prefer to watch staged porn as well. Maybe the majority of ladies do have preferences or maybe they don’t. One thing I’ve learned is that it is ok to be varied sexually because there are no real norms. I feel sorry for people that think they need to fit in a bubble. I honestly do believe that there should be more female porn directors and producers and that women should not feel bad for watching porn and enjoying it. I don’t mean to be promoting girl power but women, it is ok, normal, fine, and acceptable to masturbate, watch porn, or explore sexuality!
