Tastebuds.fm, a dating site that matches people based on what musical artists they like best, has determined that fans of Nirvana are most likely to have sex on a first date and Coldplay listeners are, well, the coldest when it comes to how far they’d go.

Keep in mind, this isn’t exactly what we’d call a scientific survey. And only a few of our (okay, I mean “my”) favorite bands were on the list, which was limited to Last.fm’s top 20 most popular artists. Tastebuds.fm asked members, “How far would you go on a first date?” with the possible answers being:

-- I’d only meet up for a chat
-- Perhaps a kiss
-- All the way, if there was chemistry

More than 400 music-loving daters participated in the survey. Fans of Adele and Lady Gaga were down near the bottom with Coldplay on how far they’d go. The Beatles? Somewhere in the middle.
