What did we learn from the Anthony Weiner naked Twit pic scandal? Aside from the fact that if you’re a politician you shouldn’t send naked Twit pics? Well, we learned that if you’re found out the last thing you should do is dance. You either say “That’s not me,” or you say “That’s me, I know I’m fired, if you want the keys to my office they’re in my pants. Go for it.” But you don’t parse.

It’s looking like no one told this to Puerto Rican Sen. Roberto Arango. Arango, Newser says, seems to have had “several anatomically vivid pics show up on the popular gay cruising app Grindr,” as reported by Gawker. Newser points out that Arango’s response to the pictures was “a Weiner-esque non-denial”:

“You know I've been losing weight. As I shed that weight, I've been taking pictures. I don't remember taking this particular picture but I'm not gonna say I didn't take it. I'd tell you if I remembered taking the picture but I don't.”

Sigh. In the post-Weiner era that’s way too much like an admission.

The pics on Gawker show the similarities between the necklaces worn by Arango and the naked man in the pic and include the on-all-fours butt shot of, well, of whoever that is.

The kicker, as reported by Newser: “Arango, who was vice-chair of George Bush's re-election committee in Puerto Rico in 2004, is known for opposing gay rights legislation.”
