More than a few commenters are offended by what they perceive as disrespect to a religion, however this costume isn't based on a religious outfit, it's based on the normal costuming for folkloric dance.

It doesn't necessarily represent a religious burka. There are practical reasons for covering your nose and mouth while in the desert . Why must sexy time always be so PC?

I have to agree. The culture of women this outfit is supposed to be based on wears the head covering and long dress as a sign or purity. Same as the Nuns have committed themselves to a life of purity and their clothing honestly not a whole lot different. Therefore, if you find this one offensive, shouldn't the Sexy nun outfits be offensive too? no i dont like this one or find it sexy at all. same with the nun outfits. and I dont belong to either religion or culture.

Hey this is totally cute, I love it!

I don't see how this costume is anything but an insult to the culture which inspired it. The dress and veil would even be ok, for a harem girl type look. But the head covering takes it to a different place. It's weird and wrong.

This is a fantasy site. It's supposed to be sexy and mysterious, like an Arabian Princess. There are sexy little genie pants costumes out there with veils for the fast. Those have been selling for decades.

It's offensive because when you make a comment about nuns you're talking about a religion from your own culture, leave fucking with other religions to their culture of origin or it comes off as imperialist and shitty
