The ring part of the toy is made from plastic and the bullet part is made from high quality silicone. Only water based lubricant should be used with this toy, as per manufacturer’s instructions.

Also, neither alcohol, “petrol” nor oils should ever be used on or to clean this toy.

The Koa is also waterproof, so could be used in the shower, tub or other water situations as well as making cleaning more easy.

The silicone part of the bullet has a lot of drag to it. If used for shallow penetration, water based lubricant is recommended. The bullet can be used for shallow penetration, but the ring will get in the way after only an inch or two, and may cause pinching of the sensitive skin.

Water based lubricant should be used on the penis and on the ring part of the Koa before attempting to place it on the man's penis. It can either be gently slid onto the penis, or pulled apart at the opening and placed onto the penis from the side. Lubricant will facilitate placement and prevent pinching or twisting of tender skin. If desired, the bullet may be lightly lubricated as well. However, the buttons are difficult to depress even dry, so try to avoid the controls if one is lubricating the bullet itself.

The Koa bullet is approximately 4 inches long and about 3.5 inches in circumference. It runs on one AAA battery.

Because of the configuration of the “ring” that it has a lip on one end (similar to an inexpensive adjustable jewelry ring) it may also be uncomfortable for more sensitive users; either the wearer or the person being penetrated with the ringed penis or dildo. Men with larger or more girthy penises (larger across than about 2 to 2.5 inches) may find the fairly firm plastic, open side and lack of material stretchability of the cock clip. Other large men may find it comfortable. Due to the shape and open side, it is unlikely that this cock ring will restrict blood flow from leaving the penis in the same way that a full circle cock ring, meant for this purpose will do. It is more for vibration than for constriction or erection enhancement.

When placed on a penis or dildo for use a cock ring, the configuration looks a bit unusual. The rather large, rocket shaped bullet sticks out sideways from the penis and may have a hard time directly reaching the clitoris, if the man’s partner is a woman. It will provide some vibration of the penis, but works best as direct bullet on the clitoris. Those who favor milder stimulation may enjoy the reduced vibration provided when the ring and bullet's vibration are dulled by the flesh of the penis.

The bullet has 12 different functions, six speeds or strengths plus seven patterns controlled by two buttons on the side of the bullet.

The buttons are very small, flush with the product's surface and must be pushed with some force to change speeds. To turn off the vibrations at any time during use, the second button must be held down for at least 2-4 seconds. Also, changing functions with the first button requires one to hold the small button down for 2-4 seconds with each change. The second button, when depressed for 2-4 seconds will turn off the motor. There is no need to cycle through all the function to turn off the power.

The force required to continually work the buttons may be difficult for those with some strength issues, larger fingers or arthritis.

The PicoBong has a clip for the penis, instead of the more common stretchy or solid ring. This clip will fit penises most comfortably between 1 inch in diameter and 2 inches in diameter. Any penis with less girth may cause the ring to slip off, any ring with more girth than 2 to perhaps 2.5 inches in diameter may not fit and cause pain to the wearer, as the plastic the ring is made of is not stretchy and can cause pinching in larger men.


Our tests found that the vibrations travel better through a vibrator (which is part hollow for the battery compartment) than a solid dildo or through flesh.

As a bullet, the PicoBong performs admirably well. The vibrations are fairly deep and somewhat rumbly. It is easy to hold as a bullet, although it is difficult to change functions while using it as a bullet or as a cock ring due to the position and size and amount of pressure needed to press the flush with the body of the toy buttons.

The toy is very quiet; most likely would not be heard under covers and certainly could not be heard through a closed door. It is small and should travel well. It does not come with a storage bag, however, as this would have been nice.

This toy should never been used anally, as it is too small and the ring is not large enough to prevent possible loss into the rectum or lower bowel.

The PicoBong Koa should be washed carefully in warm water and soap or detergent. Do not use alcohol containing toy cleaners, nor anything with oil on the product. Bleach solution should probably also be avoided, due to the alcohol restriction.

As it is small, this product is easy to store, although a small bag would have been helpful to keep the toy clean and prevent if from being lost. I store mine wrapped in a mans' handkerchief in a Locking Toy Chest.

There was absolutely no odor to the toy when it was removed from the original packaging. A thorough cleaning should be done before the toy is used the first time and after every use.

This toy arrives in a cardboard box with a cellophane window in which one can see the cock ring and the cute little PicoBong Dice. The ring, bullet and dice are placed on a piece of thick black cardboard to display them. The box also contains two pamphlets on how to use, care for and play with the item. The box could be used for storage.
