Jopen has created a fantastic line of vibrators, culminating in the Vr12: an ergonomic and beautifully designed rabbit with strong vibrations, dual motors, and a strong rotating tip. The design of the clitoral piece allows more intense and pinpoint sensations along with areal vibrations, creating intense orgasms. Truly a delight to use and a great choice for rabbit lovers. This vibrator is made out of a near-fluorescent, buttery magenta silicone like all the vibrators in the Vanity line, and it practically glows on the shelf (although it doesn’t luminesce under a black light). The silicone is smooth and squishy and a delight to touch. It has no smell at all. The only texture occurs on the lower front of the shaft, where three raised and curved lines provide some lower vaginal stimulation. There is a small seam that runs up the back and down the front of the toy. It’s more noticeable when you run your finger down it than it is to look at, but it’s slight and cannot be felt during use.
The base and charging cradle are made of a matching magenta ABS plastic. The buttons are silicone, and they are surrounded by a shiny silver plated band and the LED light rows.
The Vr12 is a moderately sized vibrator at 1 1/2" in diameter. It’s about 9 1/2” long overall, with a shaft insertion of 5 3/4". The tip starts out narrow at just 1/2" before quickly widening out to the full shaft diameter. The tip is curved for g-spot stimulation, and rotates for maximum stimulation.
The Vr12 is designed with 2 bullets: one in the clitoral piece and one located in the shaft approximately 2/3 of the way down the shaft. The bullets are Power Bullets and produce quite strong, rumbly vibrations in the toy. The second bullet also provides good vibrations through the shaft, which is a great addition to the rotating head.
The main difference between the Vr10, Vr11, and Vr12 is the shape of the clitoral stimulator. For the Vr12, this stimulator is shaped like a slug, with two antennae and a small tongue. It’s about 2 3/4" long and flexible. The tongue looks to be questing as it “climbs” up the shaft, and rests on the clitoris for pinpoint flickering and pressured stimulation.
While the toy is not discreet in either color or shape, it is suitable for travel since it features a locking mode. Whether it will travel in a carry-on without additional inspection is debatable, but it shouldn’t cause overdue concern or confiscation. It is probably better to take this in a carry-on versus a checked bag due to the item’s value.
This vibrator arrives locked. To unlock it, simply press both buttons together and hold them. The LED lights will light up both sides and then go out, indicating the toy is unlocked and ready for use. It can be locked by repeating the procedure. The Vr12 comes charged and ready for use, although the manual states that a 4 hour initial charge time is required.
The two motors are synchronous and are activated by pressing button 1 (the bottom button). To increase the vibration strength, press and hold this button. The LED lights will light up the left side until the maximum vibration is reached and all 7 lights are lit. To decrease the vibrations, press this button once to turn the vibrator off, and then press and hold until the desired level is reached.
The shaft rotation for the Vr12 works the same way, but by pressing button 2 (the top button), and the LED lights will light up on the right side. The vibration and rotation can be set on any of the 7 levels to get the combination you prefer.
The rounded bottom makes the Vr12 easy to hold on to, whether for control or light thrusting.
The Vr12 is completely waterproof, and works as wonderfully in the bath as it does on the bed. It’s also amazingly quiet, so there’s no worry of anyone hearing the Vr12 when it’s in use unless they’re very close by.
To recharge the Vr12, simply plug the adapter into the charging station and rest the Vr12 inside. When a connection is made, the LED lights will light up one by one from the bottom to the top and repeat, indicating the lithium-ion battery is charging. The lights will stop flashing after a complete charge, which should take no longer than 4 hours.
The Vr12 is easy to clean, both before and after use, with mild soap and warm water. Use of a toy cleaner is also fine. The toy should be thoroughly dried before storing in the provided storage bag or its charging station.
Only water based lubricants should be used.
The Vr12 comes in a large white box with the product name on the front and sides and a picture of the toy on the bottom. Inside the box is are the Vr12, charging base, wall adapter, large black drawstring storage pouch, a booklet explaining the functions and features for the Vanity line, and a small sheet listing the major features. The storage bag is large enough to store all of the parts together.
This is my third Jopen vibrator, and my second that is a rabbit style. Do I like the Vr10 or the Vr12 better? It’s really a toss up. They’re both quick to charge and hold a charge for a considerable time. They both perform well in the bath, and, thankfully, they both fit my body well and provide strong vibrations (easily some of the strongest of rabbit vibrators I’ve tried). I also love how the shaft has vibrations that run down it while the tip is frantically circling and the shaft rotating.
The decision of which of these vibrators to use boils down to the clitoral piece. With the Vr10, the vibrations are more spread out all over my clit, nice and rumbly. With the Vr12, however, they’re very different. The piece hits me with the slug’s tongue right on top of my clit, and it’s much more intense as it flicks back and forth. It’s not gentle except on the lowest vibrations, and it can really grind and tease until it’s almost unbearable (almost, but not quite). The slug’s antennae tickle me above my clit, and the sensation is rather incredible. I like them both, so it depends on the mood I'm in as to which one I reach for.
