The Crystal Bullet is made from ABS plastic, which has a safety rating of 8 on the Eden's material safety guide. It is very smooth with no visible seams, and can become quite slippery when wet. The plastic is hard with no give, aside from the small, soft rubber button on the end. The bullet is non-porous, and has and holds no scents.
Of course the first thing I am going to mention about this bullet when it comes to design are the six crystals embedded in the base. They appear to be secured pretty well, though I noticed another user mentioned covering them in clear nail polish just in case. This may be a good precaution if you are worried about them popping off.
My bullet is a sleek, shiny silver color. It is 3.5" long, and about 5/8" wide. This bullet could easily fit into a small purse, and it is very travel friendly. The end of the High Intensity 2 is rounded, instead of pointed like the first High Intensity. This is good if you prefer more distributed vibrations.
The on/off button is located at the end of the bullet. When clicked once, the button glows a solid red and vibrates at a low level. If clicked and held down, the button flashes red and the vibrations speed up. The flashes increase in frequency as the vibration level increases. The bullet has reached maximum vibration level when the button is being held down but remains solid red. The button can be clicked once to turn off the vibrations. It is difficult to determine exactly how many settings this bullet has, but there are at least a few.
This bullet takes a single AAA battery, unlike the first High Intensity. The package says it has 8+ hours of battery usage at low speed, and 4+ at high speed. I've only had it for a few days, but I have yet to have any battery issues. It is pretty powerful as far wireless bullets of this size go. It can get a little loud, but it's nothing that can't be easily drowned out. It can barely be heard at the lowest setting, and the sound shouldn't penetrate walls at the highest setting (unless your walls are made of tissue paper). It also features an o-ring, and is therefore waterproof. So, feel free to take it in the shower with you.
The Crystal High Intensity Bullet 2 is non-porous, and therefore super easy to clean. You can use your favorite sex toy cleaner, or a simple antibacterial soap and warm water. You can use pretty much any lube you like with this bullet. It can be stored pretty much anywhere, due to its small size and smooth surface. It won't collect lint in your sock drawer.
The package features a splash of water and several crystals scattered across the front. It describes in simple phrases the features of the bullet, including: quiet, durable, waterproof, and one tap shut off. It isn't obviously a sex toy package in that it doesn't have sexy looking models anywhere on it, but most likely someone who sees it will have an idea what it is used for.
When I first got this bullet, I wanted to try it out right away. I was definitely surprised at how intense the vibrations were -- I was expecting much less from something its size. I messed around with it for a while, eventually deciding that the highest setting is what I would need to get off. Not that the other settings aren't lovely for a bit of foreplay -- they certainly are.
One night, my boyfriend and I decided to use it as an addition to banging (aka penetration). At first we just used it on my clit (which was fine and dandy at first, but kind of a pain to keep in place, as I had mentioned, it is rather smooth and slippery when wet). I then decided to slip it inside my vagina while we had butt sex. He said he could feel it through my body, which I am pretty sure got him off as well. It clearly states in tiny print on the package that it's "for external use only." But hey, what can I say, I live on the edge. Plus, it's waterproof.
Eventually I would like to try this out with a cock ring I have that has a loop for bullets. This would probably be way more intense and pleasurable than those sissy vibrators that usually come with vibrating cock rings.
