The material seems like cheap plastic. It is metallic silver. It has some seems, but they're unnoticeable when it is in use. The texture is pretty standard for plastic, and it does not have a noticeable smell. One thing that worries me is after a lot use, I am wondering if the metallic silver coating will peel off the plastic. That would be gross, and a hassle, of course. I will have to do a follow-up review regarding this! It is a small few-inch-sized bullet, which also has an LED light insight! When vibrating, the light goes on -- which I found really enticing. I have not used it in the dark with a partner yet, but I could see that being thrilling.
This is the first bullet I've used. It has a large area that holds the three AA batteries. Also, attached by a wire is the small, oval bullet. The battery area is a lot bigger than the bullet, but the wire is long enough that the battery part does not interfere with the vibrator -- as long as you are meticulous about what you are holding. The size of the bullet is good, but it seems ideal to have another vibrator that penetrates to go along with it, unless you can get off solely from clitoral stimulation. This toy can be suitable for travel. It can be hidden easily because of its small size, and flexible attached wire.
The battery part of the toy has a switch that slides up. Normally you would assume switching it a bit would make it vibrate, but the toy really didn't turn on until the switch was halfway up. It was a pretty decent vibration; it's definitely not subtle, or "low". It got pretty intense, but its good on the noise-level. If you touch the vibrator in a certain way, however, it makes the insides rattle during vibration, which is noisy.
I would be careful washing this toy because it has a wire attached at the bottom, and it is not too big to begin with. I usually just use soap and water, but it is important to be mindful of the wires. It is easy to care for, as are most plastic toys. It's easily washable, and it does not retain smells or liquids. I used this with a water-based lube, which worked nicely.
The toy was packaged in a small plastic box: 2h~8 inches x 4 inches x 1 inch. The instructions and information were generally on the back of the box. The battery instructions were easy to follow and simple; they were found inside of the battery compartment.
