The Mystic Touch is made from very firm plastic with a slightly soft, velvety texture. Its plastic shell is rigid, although the upper third of the wand is thin enough for some flexibility under pressure. The very tip of the wand has a set of small bumps designed to provide additional stimulation when applied to erogenous zones.

The Mystic Touch is completely odorless and tasteless.

The tapering shape of the Mystic Wand allows users a firm grasp on the base while the smaller, flat, nubbed head rests easily and comfortably on the clitoris. The size is long enough for easy reach to the clitoris in a wide variety of positions.

The base of the wand is large enough to grasp comfortably, although there is nothing specific in the design that makes it easier to hold than any other vibrator of this type. There are no ridges or easy-to-hold textures on the base of the wand.

The size of the flat head is clitoris sized. The vibrator provides direct, subtle vibrations directly to the clitoris. If you enjoy vibrations that cover an area larger than a quarter, you might best be served by looking at bullet vibrators or traditional vibrators.

The toy's size makes it discreet and easy to slip in a purse. The design, however, does scream out "I'm a vibrator!"

The push button control located at the base of the Mystic Touch cycles through three vibration intensity levels. At its highest setting, the Mystic Touch is no louder than a toothbrush.

The Mystic Touch seems to operate with sonic vibrating technology - much like the types of vibrations one would find in the toothbrushes of the same name. The vibrating mechanism is also located in the upper middle portion of the shaft, making the vibrations that do reach the head weaker than those in the middle. Although this is not necessarily a drawback, plastic does not conduct vibrations as well as, for example, silicone and the difference is noticeable here.

In addition, the vibrations that come from a sonic-like mechanism are very different from those that come from a vibrating bullet. It's like comparing a humming to a ball rattling in a shell. Both vibrate, but in very different ways. It is up to individual users to decide for themselves which of the two they prefer.

The controls on the Mystic Touch are easy to reach and use. One button rotates through the three intensity levels. The button is easy to turn on, but not so much so that there is risk of accidentally turning the vibrator off or upping the intensity levels inadvertently.

The Mystic Touch is not waterproof. Although it is not labeled as being splash-proof, I was able to rinse the toy under running water after use with no apparent adverse effects.

Because it is made from easy-to-care for plastic, the Mystic Wand can be cleaned with soap and water or toy cleaner.

It can be stored with other toys, but be aware of the possibility of the plastic interacting with other materials and causing warping - of the other toys. It's hard to imagine that any toy material would be able to corrode the Mystic Wand's hard plastic shell.

The Mystic Wand is compatible with all toys and lubricants.
