The Double Duty takes two AA batteries. Just unscrew the top, pop in the batteries, one negative side up, one positive side up, and screw the top back on. Vibes come from a visible egg bullet located at the bottom of both shafts. Although the vibes are strong they do not carry well throughout the two shafts. Experience:
For me, I wanted something extremely comfortable. I lubed up the Double Duty, slid the vaginal shaft in and then guided the anal shaft in as well. I was pleased that there was no discomfort.
