Silicone is awesome for sex toys. This is a velvety toy with a firmness which I would compare to a tire. It’s flexible, but you can’t really bend it too much because of the three motors. This isn't a lint magnet like some of my other silicone toys, either!
The controls are ABS plastic.
It does have a seam running along the toy, which cannot be felt when in use.
Long and one and a half inches in diameter, this is sure so satiate pretty much everyone, and might be a little too big for some people. I can’t even insert it all the way over the bottom motor. This is one ample sex toy, I think even most size queens will be pleased with this, especially combined with the three motors.
With no realistic ‘head’, and no textures, it’s very smooth for rougher or more vigorous play.
It’s very easy to hold for solo play, and pretty easy for partner play. I think the diameter and the length of this toy makes it easy to hold in your hand while pumping it in and out, and using the controls.
The functions are easy because it only has two buttons, power and a wavy button which changes the functions. There are no up or down buttons on this toy (to control power), and it has no memory - meaning if you turn it off and then turn it on later it won’t know what function you’re on and you’ll have to click to it.
There are eight functions that go in order:
1. All three motors at once
2. All at once stronger
3. Bottom, Middle, Top, Bottom, Middle, Top
4. All pulse together slowly
5. Bottom bottom bottom bottom, middle middle middle middle middle, top top top
6. Random pattern (which isn't random - but is just like bottom two together, top, top and bottom, middle, etc. and feels random to the body)
7. All pulse together slowly
8. All motors together very strong
The control panel has 3 lights, in between the buttons. They only light up in red, and they light up corresponding with which motor is going. So there is a light for each motor. I think it’s a very nice touch and helps you find functions in the dark.
This basically has two general strengths, strong and very strong. Combine this with the fact that it has three motors and you’ll know how amazing this toy is. The vibrations are more rumbly than buzzy, and it performs very well has a g-spot toy but also as an external toy because you just use the curve to cup your labia and clit then turn on the functions. The functions that switch motors especially drive me crazy.
The volume of this toy, because of all the motors, is pretty loud. It’s comparable in volume to the Waterproof Blueberry Bliss if you own it. You could definitely hear some of these functions through a door, if not all of them, but I don’t think someone down the hall will hear you or anything. It’s not crazy loud, but it is louder.
Supposedly this toy is waterproof, so I took it in the shower. I’ll try to show this better in my video review because it is hard to explain, but the battery compartment (it runs on 3 AAAs) is a weird design.
It opens up and there’s all this open space, then you pull out this white plastic triangle that you put the batteries into and pop it back inside. The thing is, the “lid” for lack of a better word creates all this empty space where the batteries aren’t, and water can just go in their and hang out. While there is a silicone ring protecting the batteries, and whenever I used it in the shower the actual inner-battery-compartment was bone dry, I will say this is tentatively waterproof. I would only use it in the shower. Water always gets into the compartment, but not where the batteries are. It’s kind of sketchy to me.
This is silicone, I wouldn’t recommend boiling it (because of all the plastic parts!) but you can wash the silicone in the sink or sanitize it with a 10% bleach solution. And this toy is waterproof so you can take it into the shower with you for some fun times.
Don’t use silicone lube, it degrades silicone toys - try a water-based lube instead.
I was using this with another toy that had a condom on it with silicone lube, the accidentally touched and I went to rinse it off, there’s a shiny spot on the back of my toy now from just touching silicone lube for less than a minute. Silicone lube seriously compromises the texture of your toy, be careful.
The box has a picture of the toy, with sort of pulsating graphics where the three motors are, and a purple sepia picture of a woman. It says such things as:
“Gipsy ALL-OVER VIBRATION”
and “Silicone”, and even “STARS” but I don’t know why for that last one.
On one side it has a different angle picture of the toy and says “Experience love, lust and passion. Without a care!” and the same in German. on the other it has a bunch of information about the toy, but nothing in English. On the back is another picture of the toy, and in English it says, “Powerful triple motor silicone vibrator with silky soft-touch 23 cm long 3.5-4.5 cm.”
There’s a magnetic flap you can open on the front of the box, so you can see the toy. Inside the flap is another picture of that hot woman, which her mouth open. It says in German, then the same in English, “Let yourself be tempted to experience intensive feelings and tingling lust that is hard to beat. Fulfil [sic.] your erotic fantasies!”
Inside the packaging is your toy in a little white plastic cut out, and a cheap generic pamphlet about how to put batteries in about 10 different kinds of toys.
While this doesn’t have a naked woman on it, it’s not exactly discreet. It’s not very good for storage either.
This toy uses but doesn’t come with 3 AAA batteries, so make sure to buy some! Also, to my surprise, it doesn’t ‘eat‘ batteries like I thought it would (because of the three motors). I’ll try to post running time in my follow up review.
I was so excited when I heard that I had gotten the Gipsy Smile Vibrator on assignment. I’d never seen a vibrator with three motors, and the fact that it’s silicone and has such a delightful curve (for g-spotting!) really got me going. G-spot vibrators!!! I used it in the shower, in the bed, and with a partner. I squirt (so much) using this toy!
