I was impressed with this little guy. It's for G-spot stimulation, but I was able to use it a little for clitoral stimulation, too. It's an awesome shape and size for me. I am not always able to orgasm with just G-spot stimulation, but sometimes I can with just this. Other times, I warm up with this and then finish with my favorite multi-use toy, but it gets me most of the way there. It's definitely a great choice for G-spot stimulation. The Elves were Drunk when They Designed this Cane
The Candy Cane has a gorgeous and fun holiday design. It wasn't as enjoyable as a real candy cane though. The glass curve plus the bulging middle made this toy painful to insert all the way. I found that it caught my pubic bone. This won't happen for everyone though, so if you know you can handle a toy like this and don't need tons of power, treat your self to an early Christmas present! Read more

The Candy Cane is a short vibrator created by Doc Johnson. The vibrator is intended for clitoral or vaginal use. Because of the lack of a flared base, it can not be used anally. The vibrator does have a slight curved tip at the end and may be used for g-spot pleasure in some women. This toy can also be used to stimulate erogenous zones on the body.

This toy can be used for masturbation or couple's use. Because the toy is so small, it can fit between two bodies for sex. It's also small and non-threatening for a person's first sex toy.

Because the Candy Cane is made from glass, it works well for those who prefer rigid toys or those who would like to experiment with temperature play. The Candy Cane is also waterproof, multi-speed, and body-safe.

    The Candy Cane is made from tempered glass and has no smell to it. This makes the toy extremely smooth to the touch and usually requires very little lubrication for use. (Most times, the female body's own lubrication will be enough though extra lubrication is never a bad thing.) If extra lubrication is use, only a little is required because glass doesn't absorb the lubrication.

    The Candy Cane will also do well with temperature play. Since it is also waterproof, it can be submerged in warm or cool water and left there to obtain the temperature of the water. Avoid using extreme temperatures like frigid water or boiling water. Left in the water for a bit before play, the glass will either be slightly warm or slightly cool. (Before attempting this, make sure the battery compartment lid is screwed on all the way.)

    The Candy Cane does have a slight swirl texture to it. The entire toy is smooth except for the midsection of the toy. At this midsection, there is a red-colored spiral on the vibrator.     The Candy Cane is about six and a half inches in length. At the widest point, the Candy Cane has a diameter of about an inch and a half though the majority of the toy only has a diameter of about an inch. The vibe is designed with the glass as the shaft and at the base is a plastic battery compartment which can be accessed by turning the base. On this base is also a button with the number "3" written on it to signify how many speed settings this toy has.

    The design is intended for insertion. The tip of the vibrator does have a slight bend to it to better serve for g-spot stimulation. In the middle of the shaft, along with the spiral texture, is about a half-inch in diameter in growth. This small section of growth is intended to rest within the first couple inches of the vagina to stimulate the nerves there while the small bent tip is intended for g-spot stimulation.

    The g-spot tip will only work well for shallow g-spots. Because of the relatively short size of the toy, it can be difficult for those with deeper g-spots to hit their g-spot with this toy. However, the toy will provide good g-spot pressure because of the rigid material. The texture of the bulge in the middle of the toy will provide pleasure to those who enjoy texture. However, for those that do not enjoy texture, the texture may be too intense. Because it is so intense, an idea of what type of texture you enjoy beforehand should be considered before purchasing this toy.

    Because this toy is made from glass, it can be difficult to grasp during use. Lubrication will get on the toy and make it very slippery and difficult to hold. This can be avoided by wiping down the base of the toy if it gets lubricated.

    The vibrations of the Candy Cane are powered by a single AA battery. The battery seems to last at least over an hour. The battery is easily inserted by just removing the battery compartment cap. The waterproof seal on the cap seems to be tight and doesn't let any water in. Since this toy is made from glass, even the slightest vibration does transfer well through the material.

    This toy also has three vibration speeds: a low, medium, and high. There are no patterns. All of the vibration levels are moderate in strength and seem to be more rumbly than buzzy. The vibrations can be cycled through by pressing the button down. To shut off the vibrator, the vibration settings must be completely cycled through. It's very easy to press the button during use. The vibrations for the vibrator do originate at the tip of the toy which would make this is a good choice for clitoral pleasure as well as g-spot pleasure. The vibrations do travel well through the body of the glass shaft though.

    The noise level on this toy isn't bad. It could be heard in the same room easily, but it could not be heard through a closed door.

    Glass toys require special care because they can break more easily than plastic or silicone toys. For this reason, it is recommended that you keep the Candy Cane away from high falls or other items that can break it. It can be stored in the original box for safe keeping or in a storage pouch. Since tempered glass can break, be careful with where it is stored.

    For cleaning, this toy can be washed down with warm soap and water. Since it's waterproof, cleaning doesn't have to avoid the lower portion of the toy. This toy can not be boiled due to electronic parts. If you want to share this toy with other, non-fluid-bonded partners, use a condom.

    Glass can chip which can make it dangerous for use. Before use, inspect the toy and make sure it is completely smooth with no chips. If any chips are found, get rid of the Candy Cane and get a new copy of it. Buying a new toy is annoying, but scratching your insides is worse.

  • Packaging:

    The packaging for the Candy Cane is pretty basic. It looks just like other Doc Johnson packaging. It's a plastic box with a plastic tray on the inside where the vibrator rests. The packaging is very festive in red and green, and it's obvious this was intended as a Holiday gift. Doc Johnson did "get with the times" and there are large graphics on the side telling you to follow them on Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace.

    The packaging would work for storing the toy after you originally take it out, but it will take up a bit of room. The packaging is pretty minimal. Since the box is see-through and lacking in any decoration aside form the red and green colors, I would recommend this for gift giving since the packaging is tasteful (though not romantic.)

    There is no further instructions included with the packaging aside from the list of features on the outside of the packaging.
