The surface of the silicone has an interesting uneven velvet texture. Lubrication might be necessary for some because of this. It is not abrasive, but it does cause a bit more drag. Design / Shape / Size:
The Calla is a work of art. Just like flowers in nature are not perfectly symmetrical, neither is the Calla. Its main shape is a gradually increasing shaft width, with a clitoral attachment disk. The entire vibrator is attached to an easy to hold and control, touch sensitive handle. The total length is a little over 7 1/2" long. The shaft curves up slightly and resembles a thick, curved finger at the end for tantalizing deeper g-spots. The insertable length is 3 1/3" which does not seem like much, but it can fulfill with its girth. There are three tiers of girth. The first is about 3 1/2" in circumference, the second 4 1/4", and the final 5 1/2". This is created by bulges on the upper (part facing the clit during insertion), while the bottom remains smooth. The last 2" of the vibrator are very flexible so you can apply pressure inside the vaginal walls without pain.

Functions / Performance / Controls:
The control pad of this toy only has three buttons, +, -, *. They are coated in silicone and are embedded into the handle of the toy so they are not as easily bumped but are still easy to push with a thumb. To turn the toy on you have to hold the + sign for 2-3 seconds.
Once on, the starting level of vibration is a moderate and very rumbly level. It is also practically silent. Continuing to press the + button will lead you to the following levels:
1. Moderate rumble flutter of steady vibration-practically silent
2. Medium rumble of steady vibration-low level of noise, hard to hear through a door or even across a room
3. Medium-High level rumble of steady vibration-low level of noise, would not be heard through a door or across a room if under blankets or inserted
4. High level of steady vibration-moderate level of noise, still hard to hear through a door
If you press the * button while on level 1-3, it will jump to intensity 4.
If you press the * three more times, you will get the different vibration programs all on the highest level.
1. A fast flutter that can't even be heard over running AC
2. A pulse that has a staccato start to each pulse
3. A more uneven pulse pattern
4. Turbo boost-super fast and high intensity flutter
Pressing the - will turn off the vibrator if it is on the steady vibrations. If it is on the programs, it will return to the steady vibrations. To turn off from the programs, you have to hold down the - button for 2-3 seconds.
On the highest level of turbo boost, the vibrator will last about 30 minutes. The average battery length is about an hour if higher levels are used. The Calla is also completely waterproof, like the flower. It can be totally submerged and the vibrations become even more muffled.
The vibrations can be felt throughout the toy and work well to reach the clitoral disc. The end of the shaft can be used for clitoral or external anal stimulation alone, or can be inserted to provide deeper g-spot or even p-spot stimulation. Care and Maintenance:
This toy does come somewhat charged, but you will want to charge it before use. It can take up to 6 hours for the first, full, initial charge. Afterward, maintenance charging will take much less time if you charge it after each use. The way this toy charges is pretty neat. The Click-N-charge feature is magnetic! The magnet clicks onto the Fun Factory logo at the base of the vibrator, and the other end plugs into a wall. When the charger is attached correctly, a red Fun Factory light will glow on the magnet. When the charging process is complete, the light will turn off. For the best and most consistent charge, line up the two logos on top of each other and parallel. Because the new lithium polymer technology prevents the motor and battery from being damaged from extra charge time. You don't have to worry about overcharging.
Use hot water and soap to clean the toy before and after use. Pay close attention to the surface of the toy since lubrication and juices can stick to the velvety surface. Let dry and then store in a cool and dry place to prevent condensation inside the toy. If the toy experiences a drastic change in temperature, return to a cool place and wait a few hours before turning the toy on or charging it again.
Some safety/maintenance tips to remember:
-The vibrator cannot be used while charging. It will shut off if it is turned on while connected to the charger.
-Using the toy regularly will lengthen the battery life, don't store it without being charged
-Prevent the end of the toy and the charger from touching other magnetic surfaces, keep them away from things with magnetic strips like credit cards. Contact could ruin or damage both.

NOTE: Only use water based lubricants. Silicone ones will damage the composition of the material irreversibly. Little lubrication is needed. -
Packaging:
The cardboard box packaging is very informative. It includes a sample of ToyFluid lubricant, a pamphlet of other Fun Factory toys, and a guide to using the toy in a few different languages. The back of the package has a cool magnetic closure and gorgeous picture of the toy. Opening the panel reveals the toy and brief information. The front of the box has a cut out showing the toy. There is no plastic panel. It would make a nice gift and it works fine for storage but is not discreet.

Calla is seriously amazing! I was skeptical about the shape at first, but it brought me to some of the best orgasms I have ever had. It's one of those toys that you can choose to finish quickly or slow depending on what setting you choose, but it is always arousing. It's the type of toy that no matter how hard you try to not make "O" noises, even solo, you just can't help yourself. I was even able to get a impressive amount of g-spot stimulation with this vibrator. The clitoral disc reached my clit just fine and even had plenty of extra space to tease some of my vulva. Guys can use this vibrator too! The curve can lend to p-spot stimulation as well. The thickness of the vibrator was perfect and so was the length. It made me feel full, but not stretched and didn't poke my cervix. Happy day! I really think the shape and size would be great for pretty much anyone. I only wish there were more patterns and that the battery lasted longer on one charge. Other than that, this vibrator is a real gem. It is totally worth the money.
