The iVibe Wireless shaft and rabbit are covered with translucent TPE that has a tacky feel to it. While some areas of TPE are thin, the material feels quite tough. The TPE is thickest at the head of the shaft, where it is squishy yet firm. Around the beads, the TPE is quite thin, allowing the bumpy texture of the metal beads to be easily felt. Below the beads, the shaft is rigid and firm. The rabbit ears are thin and vibrate easily, but tend to stick together during use. The rabbit’s head is squishy, sitting on top of the rigid bullet. The flexible TPE allows the rabbit to move away from the shaft or side to side easily.

The remote control comes with its own battery and features plastic buttons that are slightly raised above the plastic control body. The buttons are all smooth and there is no texture marker to use as a guide (such as a raised nub or line). While a light comes on beneath the plastic surface when a button is pressed, this light may not be sufficient for use in the dark.

The iVibe’s phallic head (1.5” diameter) is made to look whimsical with a raised smiling face on the underside of the shaft. Below the head, the well-designed rotating beads can be seen through the TPE. On each of the three rows, three beads are mounted to metal tracks, eliminating the possibility of beads jamming during use.

The rabbit extension features long ears, a nubby nose, and a squishy head for a variety of pleasure surfaces. The flexible extension helps this toy fit a range of anatomies and body types.

The 3” long plastic base is a sturdy handle, but it may become slippery if you have lube or body fluids on your hand. The remote is similar in size to a small, compact cell phone.

The iVibe Wireless provides stimulating rotation and powerful vibrations. Rotation and vibration functions are equally as powerful when used separately as when used simultaneously (no power shift loss). Bead rotation may slow when increasing pressure or angling the shaft during use, but the beads should not stop. The motor is quite strong, especially on faster rotation settings. Shaft rotation is considerably louder than the rabbit’s vibrations.

The rotation functions rotate the beads and cause the head of the shaft to swivel slightly. The vibration functions vibrate the entire rabbit extension and are most concentrated in the top of the bullet / rabbit’s head and ears. The rotation and vibration functions are described below:

Rotation: 1. Slow 2. Fast 3. Fast (almost imperceptible increase in speed) 4. Rotates one way, then the other, etc.

Vibration: 1. Low, steady 2. Medium, steady 3. High, steady 4. Low to almost high to low, wave 5. Low/medium, rapid pulses (z-z-z-z-Z--Z--) 6. High to low, quick decrease, repeating 7. Medium/high, step (zzzZZZzzzZZZ).

The iVibe Wireless is controlled by four buttons on the remote. For both rotation and vibration, there is an on/off button and a button that scrolls through the respective functions. The screen lights up whenever a button is pressed; the backlight disappears after 15 seconds if no buttons are pressed . After the backlight fades, an LCD display remains on for the duration of the toy’s use. The display features a timer at the top, which shows how long the remote/toy has been on. The screen also displays the number corresponding to the selected rotation and/or vibration function. Below the number, a small animation attempts to convey the selected function, but is not particularly helpful.

The remote easily transmits signals to the iVibe from up to 30-35 feet.

The iVibe Wireless can be used with water-based or silicone-based lubricants. Take care not to let lube get into the remote as it is not waterproof.

The TPE material is porous, so sharing between partners or orifices is not recommended. If you want to share, place a condom over the shaft and cover the rabbit with an additional condom or plastic wrap.

Since this vibrator is waterproof, it’s fairly easy to clean. Just use soap and water, toy cleaner, or wipes and make sure to clean between the bunny’s ears and around the head where fluids can build up. You may wish to open the battery compartment after use and make sure no water has gotten into it. The remote is not waterproof, so do not place it under running water. Instead, place a bit of water or alcohol on a cloth and carefully wipe the remote. Store the iVibe and remote somewhere dry, dark, and cool.

The iVibe really blew me away. I was quite impressed by its rotation power; it was the first rabbit experience where I felt rotation and not just vibration or awkward movements. The vibrations ranged from a good warm-up level to almost too powerful for me. I think my clit-to-vaginal-opening distance is shorter than average, so my mons often gets poked and irritated by rabbit extensions. The rabbit’s ears initially bothered me, so I folded them toward the rabbit’s face, and they stayed put nicely during use. The broader area of stimulation felt much better than the rabbit’s pointy ears or nose. I was also pleased that I could use the shaft at whatever angle suited me without loss of rotation power. While I didn’t thrust this toy much, subtler movements like rocking worked quite well. I enjoyed the convenience of the remote, both for ease of function choice and lack of concern about how I held the base. As my first Doc Johnson toy, the iVibe Wireless left me with a very positive impression.
