I was pleasantly surprised by the simplicity, power and sophisticated elegance of the Couture Rhythm. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely, lavender silicone dual-stimulation vibrator to anyone who enjoys rabbit toys, and even to those who traditionally have not. It's firm, yet flexible enough to adjust to your unique anatomy, making it worth owning for just about anyone. The Rhythm is made of pure, medical grade Japanese silicone. The end where the controls are located, and the batteries are housed, is made of plastic with a silver metallic finish. The silicone surface is soft, matte, and provides significant drag when pulled across your skin. For some, this may necessitate the use of a water-based lube for insertion.
This toy feels thick, firm and rather hefty in your hands for its size. Still, it's flexible and forgiving without being too squishy. I found no smell or taste with the Rhythm, but then silicone rarely has either.
The gentle, swooping curves of the Rhythm are reminiscent of flower petals. The non-animal clitoral stimulator has a unique curved design and is flexible. This really makes a difference in allowing this toy to fit to a variety of female shapes, because it moves with you to accommodate your anatomy instead of stabbing you with stiff rabbit ears like some toys.
This toy looks and feels larger than it's 1.5 inch diameter and 5.25 inch insertable length. The total length is 10.5 inches and may be intimidating to some who prefer petite toys, but with plenty of lube and the flexibility of this toy, few should have a problem.
While the vibrating bullet is located in the clit stimulator, providing pin-point intensity, the vibrations do diffuse through the entire toy to the end of the shaft. The push-button controls include a convenient on/off button so cycling through all seven vibration choices is not required to shut it off. The vibration controls and shaft rotation controls are separate so you can choose to vibrate or rotate or both with varying intensities. All these choices are made even easier in the dark with a back lit control panel.
The rotating shaft of the Rhythm turns slightly inward which makes it an effective g-spot stimulator. Even if you choose not to turn on the rotation function, the shaft still has a soft curve and will provide g-spot stimulation.
The Rhythm is quiet in relationship to the amount of power it has. You can hear it under the covers, but certainly not through a closed door or over your TV or stereo.
It appears to be a securely waterproof piece. When submerged it continued to work and no water was found in the battery compartment. Speaking of the battery compartment, this one has a twist-off cap that is quite secure and, for me, this was a little difficult to open. Inside, there is a removable battery housing which does make installing the 3 AA batteries a breeze.
I have seen one other review of the CE Couture line mention having issues with rechargeable batteries, but I did not have any trouble with mine (Energizer rechargeable).
Silicone is a non porous, phthalates free and a breeze to clean with water and antibacterial soap, or toy cleaner. You can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution to sanitize. Avoid silicone or oil-based lubes, and store away from other silicone toys to prevent any damage to this one. It is a waterproof toy, so running it under the faucet for a good power cleaning should not cause any problems.
Storing this toy in its own bag or lint-free cloth will help avoid the collection of dust, particles or pet hair that silicone can attract between uses.
The Rhythm came in a lovely white box with a photo of the toy on the cover. I wouldn't say it was discreet but it was, thankfully, free from the strippers and porn stars you get with some toy packaging. The box is cardboard and could probably be used for storage, but also just as easily broken down for recycling.
One thing I would have loved to see with this toy, because it's silicone, was a storage bag of some kind.
I am usually pretty wary of rabbit-style vibrators. The rotating beads that usually jam, the stiff rabbit ears never seem to quite hit the right place and usually end up stabbing me in an unpleasant fashion, the often cheap material or just flat out cheesy overly cutesy appearance of whatever rabbit, dolphin or teddy bear they've stuck on the shaft... take your pick. I've got loads of reasons why I avoid these toys at all costs.
But the Rhythm has none of these issues. It's rotating shaft is powerful enough to power through even the clenching of vaginal walls. The clit stimulator is both flexible and non-animal like, and the silicone is just a pleasure to feel or to clean.
In short, I love this vibrator and really feel it, unlike it's cutesy cousins, it is worth the price.
I was a little skeptical when first trying this one out. I've had rotating shaft toys in the past that tended to disappoint me by just not being strong enough to rotate once inserted or the handle ended up rotating while the inserted portion was held in place.
I found the Rhythm was strong enough for internal rotation, but the external portion will end up rotating unless you hold it in place. I found I was able to close my thighs around it and really focus on the rotating sensations.
I was also very pleased with the flexibility of the clit stimulator and it's ability to please me without stabbing painfully into my labia.
While this is a powerful toy (it better be with three AA batteries) it wasn't something that got me off super fast, like you would imagine a power toy would (think Hitachi). Instead, with the rotation on high and the vibration pattern set on one of the pulsing patterns, I laid back and let this one carry me along, gradually building up to one of the more intense orgasms I've had with any toy.
I am a girl who isn't particularly patient when it comes to my vibrator orgasms. One of the reasons I use them is for the fast and easy "fix". But this was an exception and my patience was definitely rewarded.

I love the lines and curves on this vibrator. It looks almost art nouveau.

hmmmm
Looks fun. On our watch list for our next toy.
I've had two other rabbit vibrators, one by penthouse with the metal swirling beads inside the insertable length, one by a different line without the beads; along with a few vibes that were not rabbits. I found this one to be by far the BEST vibe I've ever had. It is a little on the big side, so lube is needed, but it hits all the right spots. For someone who is sensitive, not having the metal balls moving about is a plus, those can be uncomfortable! And it doesn't have an animal clit attachment, which I think is a plus because i find them to be a little creepy. great vibration, fairly quiet, sleek design, waterproof, easy to clean. can't ask for more!
great
Smooth looking.

Good review, may get this one!
The clit stimulator looks like it's positioned too far from the shaft on this toy - I had this problem with another rabbit-style vibe that I own.
