Not what it used to be. Smaller size, smaller batteries, less powerful vibration.
I wore out my second (in eight years) Eager Beaver last week and needed a new one. While it looks the same on the screen, the "New & Improved" beaver is different. It has lost approximately 1/2 inch in girth, the vibrating beaver section is approximately 1/2" smaller (read smaller vibe motor), and the rubber is a much harder material than before. The biggest letdown is the power of vibe motor. The smaller size just can't do what the older unit did. The 'high' speed is comparable to low speed on the old vibe and now just leaves you hanging (praying) for a little bit more power for a grand finale. The only improvement is the seal from the rubber to the plastic base.
It used to be the best bang for the buck, but the 'new & improved' version is a letdown.
