Best use:
According to the box of the Wow! Vibe No. 5, it says "Caution: This vibrator is not intended for therapeutic purposes and is recommended for external use only. Prolonged and frequent use is not advised or recommended as these items are sold for novelty purposes only. This vibrator should be used with discretion" (I get that many companies have to use such warnings to avoid sue-happy customers). Discretion aside, and taking into account what this vibe is made of (which I will discuss below), this is a rabbit-style vibrator. It's made and best suited for dual stimulation of the vagina and clitoris. It has a clitoral bullet and a rotating arm in the shaft, as well as a small, second vibrating bullet in the shaft made for g-spot stimulation.This is a strong, textured toy with an overwhelming combination of settings. It is something that I would nudge closer to the more advanced users who know for sure what they like. Because of the material, I cannot recommend this as an anal toy, unless you are only using this as an anal toy, as it cannot be disinfected.

Material / Texture:
The base of the No. 5 is hard, baby pink plastic with a velvety coating and four ridges on the back which make for a great grip. The control panel is raised and smoother fuchsia. The shaft of the vibe and clitoral stimulator are covered in clear, ridged, and nubbed TPE. The clit attachment has longer and shorter nubs that act as ticklers, and the internal bullet has the shame short nubs that the shaft features (pictures below).
TPE is both strong and soft. It won't tear if used properly. It's somewhat tacky and will attract hair, lint, and whatever else it decides is particularly attractive. It's compatible with water and silicone based lubes and slicks up very easily. It can be cleaned with warm water and toy cleaner or mild soap, and should be cleaned before and after each use. TPE cannot be sterilized, so this is not a toy that should be shared. Even if you put a condom over the shaft, the clit tickler remains exposed, as does the control panel.
The No. 5 has a faint smell; it's rubbery and almost flowery (though that could be due to the soap I used), but not over-powering and something that will fade with use. It has no strong taste either. This is a rather textured toy, but TPE is squishy and forgiving. Even if you don't like a lot of texture, you may find this vibe pleasant or just something you prefer not to thrust with.
This vibe takes 4 AA batteries, which I don't really mind because it's powerful I have some rechargeable AA's on hand; we'll see how long they last.- Material:

I'll start with some specs, because it's a bit larger than I expected:
At the widest part (around the internal bullet), it's 5.25" around. Everywhere else it's about 4.75" and the head is slightly more bulbous at 5".
The whole thing has a length of 10.5" and an insertable length of just a touch over 5.5".
The clit bullet is 2" with ticklers as long as a 1/2".
The internal bullet is about 3/4".
I don't really know where to start with this thing. It's not quite like any rabbit I've encountered before. When I opened it up, I spent a few minutes looking at it, observing it and saying things like, "Crikey! Did you just see that! Rabbit's don't usually do that in the wild!" and "Gee whiz! I've never seen one do that before!".

This is not a discreet toy (I can't say I've met a rabbit that is), though it is innovative and I'm excited to give it more time. I'm also crazy about the fact that there are no creepy animal faces on it! Hooray for that!
This baby is waterproof, though the battery pack pulls out (with some force) from the bottom, instead of the traditional screwing in. There is a rubber O-ring in there and although I've used it in the shower, I don't know how comfortable I'd be submerging it.- Color:

So, before I got the No.5, I scoured the Internet to find out what made the internal rotation, I found nothing. From pictures, I saw no beads and no disks. Well, inside there's a rotating arm in a plastic tube. It doesn't create a ton of movement. I wish I had a picture of my face as I read from the back of the box, "Carefully bend the shaft to increase the rotation of the shaft...". I tried to give it a bit of a bend, but I'm not going to crank away on something that looks like plastic which will break under pressure; so that's a tad strange.
The box boasts, "...powered by whisper-quiet Japanese motors, this WOW! vibe will change your perception of pleasure." Well, this toy is loud, I mean, audible at the lowest settings. Once it got going I was afraid my roommate might even get suspicious over the sound of the shower. Strike "whisper quiet" from the back of the box, unless your talking about those people with zero self-awareness who drunkenly think they're whispering... "I HAVE A SUPER-SECRET SECRET TO TELL YOU!!!!"
There's a power button, which just turns the No. 5 on, but doesn't start anything moving. Then there are four triangle buttons in sets of two. They are pointing up and down, controlling the power of the internal arm and then the clit and internal vibe. Then there's the "F" button which controls the functions and cycles through everything working together. Each (aside from the "F" button) has a red indicator light above it. The vibes and internal rotation can be controlled and used totally separately, which I adore, but I kinda wish the clit bullet and internal bullet were not habitually connected, though that's not a big deal.
On their own, each of the internal rotation and vibes have 8 speeds, and even the lowest vibes are rather strong. The higher end hurt me and feel a little buzzy. There are ten "thrilling" (says the box) functions, which include:

There are a lot of functions, and you can continue to play with the speed as you cycle through them. I was sad that there was no roller-coaster function, but I suppose you can't always have everything.- Functions:

Care and Maintenance:
TPE is fairly easy to take care of, just wash it before and after each use with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner, never boil this toy; you will be sad. It will attract hair and lint, but because the No. 5 is waterproof, you can rinse it as often as you need to. I said this above, but I'll say it again: TPE is compatible with water and silicone based lubes, but it cannot be sterilized, so this is not a toy to be shared. Even if you put a condom over the shaft, the clit tickler remains exposed, as does the control panel where all kinds of lovely bacteria can get trapped and grow.
I store this vibe in the beast of a box it came in (picture below). But you should keep it wrapped in a sock or in a bag if you decide to recycle the box. Otherwise, the original packaging makes fine storage that will keep your lovely vibrator save and clean for years to come. -
Packaging:
The packaging is quite nice. Clearly Pipedream took a page from Lelo and Njoy when creating it. There's a heavy paperboard slip on the outside with specs, care instructions, pictures of the vibe, and lots of pink and silver eye-candy. The box itself is heavy, glossy, white, solid cardboard with "Wow! Vibe", "Pipedream", and "No.5" emblazoned in silver on it (not discreet enough to keep out on a night stand). Inside is white "satin" over a plastic cutout of the vibe. The top of the box has foam for more protection. It's great for storage, and clearly Pipedream spent a lot of time designing the packaging, but it's kind of a wasteful nightmare, but the pretty kind of nightmare that you tend to enjoy.
