Is That Your Thong Getting a Phone Call?
While this vibrating thong did provide us with some interesting fun, it hasn't exactly won my heart over. The low quality thong that is provided turned me off a little and the volume at which the vibrator operates is far too loud to use this thing in public. Read more

    This lace used in this panty is so soft! The feel of the thong against your skin is enough alone to make you hot. At 90% nylon and 10% spandex, it's really a blend of sex and softness. And to make it even nicer, the waist and thigh bands are elastic so they'll stretch to fit your own shape.

    The bullet is encased in a perfectly smooth black plastic. Your own natural lubrication will slip around easily on this, but luckily it will be protected behind the cloth panty-liner in your thong. A few nubs added to the tip of the vibe would've added stimulation, but maybe LBP vs. 2.0 will feature texture.

    The translucent floral-print lace design sure makes for a sexy thong. The side-ties can be snipped to fit your hips. If your hips are over the 16" comfortable stretched length of the elastic waist, the ribbons at the sides can adjust to accommodate up to 55" hips. So quite a range of sizes will fit here! That's the best part of these panties.

    The cut is nice, not too retro or outdated. The thong does its job and, well, places itself right up your ass. If you're accustomed to thongs, this won't be an issue for you.



    The size of the vibe could be improved. Granted, to accommodate 2 AAA batteries it must be of a certain size. However, the 'Body Forming Remote Bullet' claim is not so body forming. It's really more bulky than body-forming. At 3" x 1.5" x 1.25," it is certainly small. The vibe is also shaped to form to the body; its shape resembles a maxi pad, really. Concave in the middle in width and height, rounded on either end. However, in the front of your panties it really seems hard and bulky. In tight pants, it will definitely show, and look like you have a dingdong.

    The handpack includes a 23A 12volt battery, which is likely going to be a bit of a hassle to replace when it runs dry. Remove the batteries when not in use to prolong their life.

    Personally tested and strong as ever at up to 30 feet away, your lover is sure to get your attention from across a crowded room. The vibe you're packing will jump to life at the click of a conveniently-lit button on your partner's control pack. The panty vibe then cycles through a set of 10 patterns.

    Basically the last 6 patterns are the same. A press-and-hold of the control pack for 2 seconds will shut it off. The vibrator will resume the next pattern on its cycle when it starts up again.

    The vibrations vary in frequency, which is certainly appreciated by a clit who's been receiving stimulation off and on all night. Change is good. The vibrations will be diffused, as the vibe sits on your vulva and not directly on your clit, unless you happen to have a well-exposed clit and press your pelvic bone against something hard, simultaneously. For me, dispersed vibrations throughout the vulva can be more intense. If nothing else, it's a sensation all its own, and a new experience for one who's never tried it. This aside, the little vibe could certainly stand to be stronger. I'll give it a Vroom rating of 3. Semi-scary bumble bee status.

    The ergonomic handpack is small, fits easily into a pocket, and is discreet. The simplest of gentlemen or gentlewomen could use it, no problem. It could easily be mistaken for a garage door opener. No one needs to know.

    In a home setting, under covers, the little Black Panty vibe is not going to pass the sound test. However, in a setting where people are talking, music playing in the background, chatter hanging in the air, the sound will never be noticed. I can guarantee it.

    You will, however, notice the thing yourself, in your panties. But that's another matter entirely.

    The bullet is waterproof, per Cal Exotics. Now, I found nary a water-ring on the vibe, so I didn't test it out. Do so yourself at your own discretion.

    The panty tag states to hand wash cold, but considering the simple 90% nylon, 10% Spandex content, I don't see why the heck you couldn't throw it in the machine on cold and hang it to dry. No harm in that if you ask me.

    The control pack and vibe can be wiped down with an antibacterial cloth. Don't submerge either or them in water or place them under running water. There are unprotected batteries in there. It'd be like dropping the hole-y Titanic into the sea.

    I store my panty in my drawer with all the rest; most of them can fit the vibe in their own panty liner slot anyhow. The handpack and vibe I keep at my bedside with the rest of my small, oft-used toys.

    The classic Cal Exotic box is rarely discreet. Ladies' asses, a pair of bloomers and a vibrator adorn the box, along with the word 'Panty' in bold letters. Not your Grandma's Christmas gift, if you get my drift. Or maybe you have a hip Granny; what do I know?

    The box outlines features of the toy, including its multiple functions, claim of waterproof capabilities, and ideal remote control range of up to 19.5 feet. Included in the set is a slip of paper outlining technical details on a 'test report' that appears to have been done by some standards company in China.

    Instructions on vibe setup, care, storage and warnings are included, and written in fairly poor English. Still, the effort is appreciated. I would skip using this as storage as the box is much bulkier than the actual set.
