Material / Texture:
Cupid’s Love Wand is made of ABS plastic, and is nickel-free. It is a lovely pale matte lavender color, and smooth to the touch. The matte finish gives it a slight drag. There is a very slight seam that runs up one side. It can be more felt than seen, but it is not overly noticeable or distracting. Cupid’s Wand has no smell or taste.
The black wrist strap is made of nylon, and is attached together inside a plastic silver heart.

Functions / Performance / Controls:
Cupid’s Love Wand is powered by 2 AA batteries, which are inserted by unscrewing the base. When open, a white rolled paper is inside. This paper should not be removed, and shows the correct battery position. The batteries fit snugly, but come out easily with a light tap of Cupid’s wand onto your palm.
The base of Cupid’s Wand has 2 buttons. One button turns the vibrator on and off. The other button cycles it through 10 vibrating functions:
- Low Vibration
- Medium Vibration
- High Vibration
- Pulse
- Step (short long pattern)
- Hi Lo (short short long pattern)
- 4 Pulse (low, medium, high, very high intensity pattern)
- High Pulse (low to high vibration pattern)
- High Steeplechase (low to high vibration, then high to low pattern)
- Low Pulse
The vibrations of Cupid’s Wand are surprisingly intense, especially on the high settings.
Cupid’s Wand is much quieter than expected. It is a bit louder than a cell phone, but won’t be heard much under covers or behind a closed door. It vibrates the most in the tip, although the vibrations are also intense down the length.
When Cupid’s Wand is turned off, then turned on again, it remembers the pattern it was turned off at. As long as the batteries are not removed, this memory feature works. Unscrewing the cap all the way or replacing the batteries causes Cupid’s Wand to reset and turn on at its low vibration speed on start-up.
Cupid’s Wand is a waterproof vibrator, so it can be used in the shower or tub with no problems. Under water, it was a bit louder than on the bed.

Care and Maintenance:
Cupid’s Love Wand is made of ABS plastic, so it’s non-porous and phthalates-free. It can be cleaned by using antibacterial soap and hot water, or wiping it down with toy cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.
Since this vibrator can’t be sterilized, a condom should always be used if sharing, or if you plan to use it both anally and vaginally.
Water-based, oil, and silicone lubricants are all safe to use with this vibrator.
-
Packaging:
Cupid’s Love Wand comes in a plastic box with see through front and sides. The vibrator is visible through the front, and the box is easy to open.
The back of the box has battery insertion instructions, and on the side the vibration patterns are detailed.
Cupid’s Wand comes with a fold-out instruction sheet in six languages. It contains battery information, electrical malfunction suggestions, and use instructions.
Warnings include not using the vibrator on swollen or inflamed skin. If Cupid’s Wand is used excessively, the motor may wear and overheat. If this happens and the vibrator is hot, it should be turned off and left to cool.

Personal comments:
The memory feature isn’t listed in the instructions or on the box, but I found it to work consistently as long as I didn’t unscrew the base. This is handy, as I love to be able to start right out on the vibration I want.
I also like how this is controlled by the 2 buttons and not a dial base, and has the 10 function options. The buttons aren’t overly easy to press. The only real problem with them is you have to go by feel when you want to change the vibration level, which may cause you to turn the toy off by mistake. That is where the memory feature really comes in handy.
The vibration level of this toy is phenomenal! I was truly surprised at how strong this was, especially with only 2AA batteries.
The retrieval cord is large enough to slip over both mine and my husband’s wrist. He likes the cord because it keeps the vibrator from flying out of his hands. The heart would be nicer if it were a different color, or didn’t feel so cheap, but it works to keep the ends of the retrieval cord together as expected. It would also be nice if the plastic where the cord attaches to the vibrator was a little thicker or larger. Although we had no problems with it, it seems like this could break off the toy after a bit of use if care isn't taken.

Experience:
Cupid’s Love Wand worked well for both solo and partner play. I liked using this quite a bit as a clitoral stimulator, and I enjoyed the internal vibrations. This vibrator is a bit too slim, but works nicely in conjunction with other toys for me.
My husband was ok with using this one because of the retrieval cord, although he would have preferred more of a base.
Comments
What is the retrieval cord for?? Making sure you don't lose it in your butt? XD
It's alright.
