The New Impulse 4.5" is presented by WHK GmbH (maker) and EdenFantasys.

Made from hard plastic, the surface of the Impulse is perfectly smooth, with a narrowed head. This texture transmits the vibrations from the internal motor quite well, without suppressing any of the power as other materials can. Its slick surface can also help with fucking.

The Impulse is a simple, straightforward vibrator. It is short, at just over four inches of insertable length. It is also narrow, the circumference is 3.5 inches at the vibrator’s widest point. This less-than-intimidating design makes it worth consideration for beginners.

Operating with a single button situated at the bottom of the battery pack, the Impulse has three speeds and several special functions including: roller coaster settings, pulsing, and build-up settings. Unfortunately, with all these special settings, it’s necessary to cycle through them all to turn the vibrator off, or go back to the prior setting. The Impulse is not overly powerful given its use of AAA batteries, but the highest setting is still respectably strong. While not overly loud, the whiny, high-pitched hum of this vibrator can be something of a deterrent.

The Impulse is easy to clean with warm soapy water. Since it is made of plastic, it is compatible with both silicone and water-based lubes. With its slick surface, lube will not quickly dry up or “absorb” into the material.

Like many vibrators the New Impulse comes in an easily opened, clear plastic clamshell, with a picture of a half-naked woman and a description of the vibrator.

To be honest, I found the Impulse to be a little “blah”. Perhaps it just wasn’t powerful enough for me. While it provided some pleasure when I used it on my clit, it wasn’t nearly enough to make me come. For me, it serves as more of a “warm up” toy, than a go-to if I want to use just one vibe on a given evening.
