This toy is made out of "PureSkin", a silicone composite material, also referred to as TPR silicone. This particular material is extremely soft and somewhat skin-like in density. It has an interesting pattern of swirls and dots, which are also very soft and slightly noticeable when inserted. Underneath the TPR is a rigid, hard plastic core, which houses the vibrating components. The smell of this toy, which claims to be "lightly scented", is unpleasantly strong and reminiscent of a lemony dish soap. After several washings, the smell is still quite strong. The material is also greasy and left a film on the inside of the packaging and on my hands. When I rub along the shaft of this toy, little bits of the material ball up, similar to rubbing or scratching off dead skin cells. It is also very sticky, and attracts dirt and hair.
This vibrator is 6" insertable by 1-5/8" in diameter, making it of fairly average size. The textured provides a unique interpretation on the traditional straight-shaft vibrator. The shape is a familiar favorite for many, though in the short time I have had this vibrator the outer layer of TPR has split.
This vibrator has a push-button control and three speeds. The vibrations are located in the middle of the shaft and there is a great deal of variation between the three speeds. The lowest speed is pretty quiet, but the highest speed is fairly noisy relative to the strength of the vibrations. The vibrations in this toy are a high-pitched, "buzzy" frequency, similar to a fly's buzzing.
Based on the porosity of this toy and its susceptibility to dust and dirt, it should probably always be used with a condom. Between uses, a cleaning with soap and water may be useful. It should be stored separately from other toys containing silicone and should only be used with water-based lubes.
This is packaged in a clear plastic box sitting in a clear tray. The packaging is simple and tasteful, and contains no images of models.
