The sleeves are all removable, save for the smallest one which is connected directly to the ergonomic handle, and graduate in size from 4 ½ to 6 ½ with varying girths. Each sleeve features an interlocking design so that they can be stacked upon one another without having to remove the previous one, attaining more girth with each change.
This ingenious interlocking system also prevents the sleeves from slipping or moving during your intimate sessions. Made of smooth plastic for comfortable play, the sleeves all have sloped heads that taper gently into the shafts and can be covered with the texturized silicone sheath, featuring rows of raise nubs, a bulbous head, and a ribbed neck for further stimulation. Finally the powerful, multi-speed vibrations are controlled by a ridge knob at the base of the handle, and "help to take the clinical edge off dilator use by making the focus on pleasure as well as training." @bayosgirl: My impression is that dilators are for women who are either a)so small it makes intercourse painful or b)those who still have parts of their hymen intact, and want to gently break it up so that penetration is no longer painful. My GYN suggested something like this for the latter reason, so I'm actually really happy there is a version that vibrates. Although--as someone else said earlier--the last one does look huge!

Interesting, I wish my gynecologist had given me this set instead of the one I was actually given. I ended up paying more for something that didn't vibrate! And I've had a hard time making the just plain dilators (on the set I have, not this one) seem sexy.
