The Heart's Restraint
Comfortable restraints for those both inexperienced to restraints and those seasoned in it. These cuffs come in sexy colors to be aesthetically pleasing while they also have great hold. Though users need to find a way to connect(or to keep separate), there are many ways these cuffs can be used! Read more

Best use:

The Wrist Restraints by PHS International will work wonderfully for anyone who loves bondage. They are comfortable and non-threatening enough for the beginner just playing. But will also work great for those who are into more advanced serious bondage.

  • Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit:

    These cuffs are made of very nice leather, they're very smooth and soft to the touch. They even have that wonderful leather smell. The black section, the part that goes around the wrist, is 9 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide. Across the top of that is a nice deep colored red leather strip that is 11 inches long and 1 inch wide. It is secured by 5 double rows of rivets that add to the overall look of the cuffs. There is a D-ring about half way down the rows of rivets. And there is a small belt type buckle for securing the restraints. All of the edges are sewn down very well with black thread. Which adds a nice effect on top of the red leather.

    A couple of things I want to mention that take away from these is first, if your wrists are larger than 9 inches these will not fit without modification. Meaning you would have to punch additional holes into the red leather. But even then, the black leather won't meet at the bottom. Fortunately for us, my husband's wrists are exactly 9 inches and mine are much smaller. Also there are no hooks to attach the cuffs to each other or to our Sportsheets Under the Bed Restraint System. So we bought some basic key chain type hooks to add to this.

  • Performance:

    These cuffs worked really well for us. I love how hot they look on. And they're super comfortable to wear. I had no problems with any stitching or edges rubbing uncomfortably. I could definitely tell that, had I wanted to, I would not have been able to slip out of these on my own.

    These would probably not work as ankle cuffs unless your ankles are smaller than 9 inches.

    Also, I know there are people who like to wear leather cuffs out in public as an accessory. These would probably work great for that as well.

  • Care and Maintenance:

    The leather that these are made of is the type that would be easy to just wipe them clean with a damp rag. You could probably use a bit of leather cleaner if you wanted to, though it's not really necessary.

  • Personal comments:

    It's really hard to have much to say about something as simple as a pair of wrist restraints. But I would definitely recommend these. We both really enjoyed them. Before now, all we've had are the nylon with Velcro type wrist restraint, which work fine. But these added a little something more in the way of being really hot looking. Not to mention the fact that I love leather!
