Vibrating anal plug discontinued

It'll Make You Want Something Better

I really wanted to like the Tush Teaser. I loved the aspect of a vibrating butt plug, but with its jelly composition and overall poor construction, you're better off with a vibrating plug that doesn't have a wired remote.

Use

The Tush Teaser is a butt plug with a removable bullet inside it. If you remove the bullet, you can use it as a normal plug without worry about wires. The bullet can be used independently to stimulate multiple areas on the body.

While probably designed for solo play, it is possible to use the Tush Teaser during vaginal intercourse. However, you must be mindful of the wire and periodically check that the plug is completely in place. The vibrations can be felt by your partner if they are penetrating you, so it can add to their pleasure as well. It is quiet so others won't hear you beyond your door.

I wouldn't recommend using the Tush Teaser under clothes or in public, with or without the bullet. While it has a flared base for safety, the neck is not really long enough to prevent it from slipping out. There are other toys better suited for this purpose.

Material / Texture

As a silicone aficionado, I'm not a fan of jelly. Jelly is porous, thus making sterilizing impossible for this toy. The first thing I did when removing the packaging was remove the bullet. I was greeted with a slight odor and a film of gunk on the bullet. I'm assuming it was due to humidity combined with the jelly material. Even after a few cleanings, pulling out the bullet will still reveal this film. It is off putting, but you can clean the bullet with a wet wipe easily enough.

The Tush Teaser is smooth and tapered, allowing for easier insertion. Beginners should be able to handle this toy with little difficulty.

Design / Shape / Size

I'm ambivalent about the design of this toy. By looking at it, you can tell it is not the highest of quality. The plastic remote look and feels cheap. Be careful not to add strain on the wire in order to increase its life span. The plug itself is not very large and a beginner should be able to handle it. In contrast, an advanced anal player will quickly bore of the toy. It is not challenging to insert and the vibrations, while pleasing, are not very intense. Again, the neck is small, so it can slip out, which is annoying.

Dimensions:
Length: 4"
Insertable Length: about 3"
Diameter of base: 2"
Width: up to 3"

The Tush Teaser is small in comparison to other butt plugs and is easier to travel with than, say, anal beads. Or you can simply take the bullet with you. It's travel friendly.

Warning: Do NOT pull on the bullet by the wire. I feel that will just break a toy with already questionable craftsmanship. If you want to remove the bullet vibrator, push the flared base of the plug down to expose the bullet.

If you keep pushing down at the flared base with your thumbs, with base facing you, you can simultaneously pull up the sides with your forefingers. You can feel the bullet through the toy since it's made of jelly.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The remote control comes with a side dial in order to increase the intensity of the vibrations. I find this obsolete because there are really only three settings: off, low and high. It's not a sliding scale that the dial would indicate. Either way, the vibrations are not intense compared to many vaginal toys, but it's a good setting for anal play. The vibrations make insertion easier.

The Tush Teaser takes 2 AA batteries. So far it doesn't seem to be a battery guzzler, which is a plus. The wire is long enough, I have not encountered a scenario, either alone or as a couple that would require more slack.

Do NOT use this toy near in or near water. Just looking at the bullet you can see a noticeable seam in the middle, and where the wire joins at the base doesn't seem completely sealed.

Care and Maintenance

The tush teaser is an annoying toy when it comes to upkeep. Being made of jelly, it's best to place a condom over it to keep it as clean as possible and prevent bacterial build up. Using condoms still won't keep it 100% clean. Lube can and will get under the condom and all over the base of the toy. Gunk can also get inside the opening where the bullet is. I've used water base lube on the Tush Teaser because it's not very large and it is smooth. Water based lube will do the job, but if you decide to have extended play, I would recommend a better lubricant.

I also made the mistake of getting the ivory colored option. At first I thought it would be a good choice since it was skin color and less "out of place" during play.

But it was a mistake. The ivory shows EVERY. SINGLE. SPECK of dirt or lint. Within minutes of opening my Tush Teaser, I was already seeing little pieces of lint and debris. Even throwing a condom over it, I feel I can never clean it enough.

After use I have almost a ritual. This is my highest maintenance toy. After wiping it down for lint and debris BEFORE use, I then use soap and hot water afterwards. I dry it for storage and then I put it with all my other anal play toys and wrap it in a dry wash cloth. I must say that my Tush Teaser is kind of the outcast of my anal toy collection. Since all my other anal toys are silicone or food grade materials, the Tush Teaser is all alone wrapped in the corner of that box. Maybe I'm a germ-aphobe and it is unnecessary, but I digress.
    • Hard to clean
    • High maintenance

Packaging

The packaging was clear plastic that was easy to remove and then discard. It does not come box or container intended for continuous storage. The package is not discreet.

There are not written instructions for the Tush Teaser, however, it is simple to use.

Personal comments

I wish I could love this toy. While the removable bullet might be a plus to some, I would prefer the controls for the toy to be on the butt plug. This way I won't have annoying wires in the way. A good alternative could be the Picobong Tano. In the other direction, maybe there can be a wireless butt plug. Either one would be great, and a vast improvement compared to the Tush Teaser.

Experience

Surprisingly, my boyfriend likes the Tush Teaser more than me. He says he can feel the vibrations from the toy and it feels good for him. You can't do every position with this plug in though. And do be mindful of where the wire is. If you are careful and use the right positions, you can enjoy the full, vibrating feeling.
Follow-up commentary
I wish there was a "still ambivalent" or "don't love or hate" option for follow up reviews...

I hate that the Tush Teaser is jelly. It sucks that it slips out and there is a wire to deal with.

I like that it makes sex more intense and my boyfriend occasionally wants me to wear it because he likes the sensations he experiences.

But since I'm already looking into wireless butt plugs, I suppose this means I still don't care for the Tush Teaser. It was a stepping stone and no more.

I think the wire would ruin it for me. I never gave a vibrating one thought though....

They're great for both partners. And it's a different feeling. It's lighter and more tickly almost for me...
