Even If Vampires Aren't Your Thing...

Even if you don't have a vampire fetish, the Vamp is a fantastic choice. This realistic dildo is realistic manages to bring in a nice hint of "whimsical" to it's realness. When you take the realistic shape, and you add the whimsical, shimmering color, you end up with one beautiful cock.

The best part? The material is extremely high quality. I highly recommend that you give the Vamp a try today, even if you don't daydream about screwing Edward.

Use

Have you ever wished that you had your very own vampire penis to play with? Perhaps you want to fantasize that you're having amazing sex with Edward from Twilight. Or, perhaps, you want to pretend that you ARE Edward!

Perhaps you haven't even had any vampire fantasies, and you're just looking for a really good dildo to play with. That's me, the one without vampire fantasies. I may not want to screw a vampire, but I do want my Vamp dildo.

Vamp by Tantus is a great choice for both beginners and advanced users. That being said, users will want to keep in mind that this toy does have a fairly large head, which can be a bit uncomfortable at first. For this reason, I urge you to go slow, and be gentle, when you first start playing with your new vampire penis. While the head is large, this is still an excellent toy that can be used in multiple ways.

You can use this for vaginal penetration. Their is a very slight curve to this toy, so it may be possible for it to your g-spot. For me, it didn't provide great g-spot stimulation, but it was still an awful lot of fun to thrust with this dildo.

You can also use this dildo for anal sex, due to the fact that it has a flared base. Keep in mind that the Vamp is a little girth-y, so it's not going to be the best choice for beginners to anal, but if you enjoy anal sex? The Vamp may be a good choice.

If you're looking for a dildo to use with a harness, I'm not sure that I'd recommend the Vamp for that. It is true that Vamp does have a base, but the base is sort of flexible, and very thin. I'm just not sure that the base would be able to hold the weight of the dildo (Vamp is a bit heavy) into a harness.

Material / Texture

Vamp is made out of food-grade silicone. Silicone rates as a 10 on Eden Fantasy's scale, due to it's non-porous nature. Silicone is also hypoallergenic, latex free, and phthalates free. In my opinion, this is one of the best materials for sex to be made out, not only due to the safety factors, but also due to how nice it feels.

The texture of Vamp is fairly smooth, although there are some ridges throughout the surface. The ridges seem to be meant to imitate veins, although they're not realistically done. I do feel the veins when I insert Vamp, but they're not overwhelming. Still, if you don't enjoy the veined texture, you might want to look at something else.

The head of the toy is extremely large and obvious. There is a sort of ridge that goes right underneath the head, that can feel a bit uncomfortable at times.

The Vamp does feel a bit squishy. I am able to squeeze it, but I can tell that there is a fairly firm base in the center of it, which keeps it feeling hard. Vamp is also surprisingly flexible. I can bend the this dildo in just about every way, and yet it still feels firm.

As for taste and smell? This beautiful dildo has none!

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is moderately sized, at 6 3/4" in length, with 6 1/4" of that being insertable. Vamp is 1 1/2" in diameter.

This isn't a small dildo by any means, but it's also not large enough to be that intimidating.

The design of Vamp is fairly simple. It's meant to resemble a real cock, without being overly "real" in looks. The base of the toy makes it great for anal, but it also makes it so that you can sort of "ride" this toy, if you sit it on a sturdy surface. That being said, this toy does NOT have a suction cup base, so you'll need to sort of hold the base down.

The head on the toy is a little large for me. It took a lot of getting used to the ridge that goes underneath the head, as it seemed to hit uncomfortable spots at first. Once I slowed down, and eased myself into it, this was great.

The veins going up the surface of this toy add in some additional stimulation, without being overwhelming. Even those that don't enjoy texture should be able to enjoy Vamp.

As for being discreet? There's no way that this could be anything other than a dildo; it just looks too much like a real cock. For this reason, you're probably not going to want to leave this toy out when you have visitors, and you might not want to travel with it if you're shy.

Performance

The Vamp lived up to my expectations.

It did take me awhile to get used to the large head of the toy, but once I did? This toy was amazing. My favorite way to use this toy is to thrust with it vaginally.

I really love that this toy is flexible, as it allows me to angle it so that it hits all of the right spots. That being said, I do wish that Vamp had a little more of a g-spot curve, as finding my g-spot with Vamp can be quite the challenge.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is very easy to clean. You can wipe it down with a toy cleaner, you can wash it with warm water or antibacterial soaps, or you can even use a toy wipe. You can also use a 10% bleach solution, if you choose to.

Vamp can also be easily sterilized, which means that it is safe to share this toy. To sterilize Vamp, you can boil it for a full 3 minutes, or put it on the top rack of your dishwasher.

I would recommend that you store Vamp in a pouch, or ziplock bag. This is because the silicone material seems to attract a lot of lint, and you really don't want the lint getting inside of you. For this reason, you should also consider giving Vamp a good rinse before each use (and of course wash it well before storing).

As for lubes? You're going to want to stick with a water-based lubricant, as silicone lubes can interact badly with the silicone material.

Packaging

At the time that I purchased this, this toy came in a plastic box. The toy was clearly visible through the packaging, so you definitely don't want to open this if you're around people who wouldn't appreciate your beautiful new dildo.

I found the original packaging to be a bit of a hassle, so I threw it out. That said, if the packaging does not bother you? It could work for storage; it just takes up more space than it needs to.
Follow-up commentary
I still truly enjoy this dildo, though I'm not crazy about the large head. Still, if I go slow, this toy feels fantastic. It's one of my absolute favorite dildos at this time.

I'm sorry to see you didn't enjoy the large head, for me that was what provided g-spot stimulation.
