Some background: I visited my local toy shop specifically to check out the Womanizer products in person to decide which one to get. I hadn't seriously considered the 2 Go model as an option because I didn't need the travel-friendly feature and just assumed it would be less powerful than the others. In my experience, discreet toys don't have the oomph I need, and I've always thought those made to look like lipstick were silly. Well, this one proved me completely wrong!

The Womanizer 2 Go is a lovely toy with a very clever design and the incredible technology of all the Womanizer products. With the cap on over the "lipstick" portion, you could safely leave it on your bedside table and someone would likely assume it is a luxury perfume bottle. It's too large to actually be convincing as a lipstick (about the size of my entire hand), but it is a gorgeous design nonetheless.

It comes packaged in a lovely gold and black box that's perfect for storage.



Included with the toy is very detailed operating instructions (always a plus in my book), the charger, and an extra, larger-sized stimulation head.

I charged up the Womanizer without issue (only took 1-2 hours), cleaned the head with water and soap, and even cleaned the whole unit in water per the instructions (one of the joys of it being completely waterproof).



My first use of this toy was a solo session in my bedroom. As I always do before "getting serious" with any new product, I familiarized myself with the buttons and functions. One of the best things about the design is its simplicity: only one button to touch (and it even lights up)!



First press of the button turns it on, and then each successive touch turns up the level (5 being the highest) before restarting at the lowest setting. Pressing and holding for a few seconds turns it off.

I am absolutely a power girl and require clitoral stimulation to climax, so I was pleasantly shocked at how strong the Womanizer felt, even at the lowest setting! It's unlike anything else I've experienced and I don't know how any other toy will compare after this. People aren't kidding when they say you can orgasm in under a minute with it!

When actually against your clitoris, the noise level is minimal. But be warned, if you turn it on just out in the open, it sounds a bit like a carburetor.

Second time around, I took the Womanizer in the bath with me and it was just as incredible. The noise level increased slightly in water, but that was easily muffled by leaving the water running.

Experimenting by applying a little water-based lube to my clitoris before using the toy served to intensify the sensations. I highly recommend trying that! No silicone or hybrid lube with this, though.

Because this isn't a traditional vibrator, it's hard to rate the vibrations in a typical way. I'm a power girl and I found the lowest setting stimulating, but really was knocked out by the mid/high settings.

Given the type of product this is, it really is only good for clitoral stimulation. I did try using it on my nipples as well, but it didn't do much for me. This is certainly a one-trick pony, but what a trick it is!

After the last few toys I reviewed left me cold, I was so so happy that the Womanizer not only delivered an orgasm in under a minute, but I was able to have multiple orgasms with further use.

One session with this toy at the very highest setting did leave me a little tingly after, so those who are very sensitive should play carefully. It's easy to become overstimulated if you go crazy with the power.

This toy is very much exclusively for women, which could be seen as limiting its versatility. You can mix it up by having a partner use this on you (unsure if this would work during penetrative sex, but definitely an option for foreplay), taking it in the water, or perhaps experimenting with clitoral stimulation gel (just make sure it is safe to use with silicone). No vaginal insertion with this toy and definitely not anal!
