Although my use is as a warm-up, I imagine most people (and probably myself too, if I decided I wanted to) could easily take it for a round trip. I'm just a size king, so I like for him to bring a friend, but if that doesn't bother you, this could easily be the only thing you need. It'd be particularly nice for newcomers to penetration or for people who prefer a fullness comparable to fingering.
