Loving game Adult game discontinued

Good for beginners, easy to play, romantic.

My husband and I had the pleasure of playing Penthouse’s Loving Game recently.  The game board is large enough to make each square easy to read on the board, but small enough so that it can be taken anywhere and played anywhere such as the dining room table, living-room floor, or the bed.  One dice and two game pieces (pink and blue) are included.  Although the game does not come with any instructions, it was quite self-explanatory and leaves room for a couple to use their imagination in regards to what one receives when they win.There is a square marked “Start” in which your game pieces are placed at the start of the game.  My husband and I decided that each of us would roll the dice once and whoever got the highest number on the dice was the one to go first.  This worked out well in getting our tokens advanced on the board.  The board instructs each player to either discuss something specific directly to their partner or with their partner, meaning that the discussion involves both players.  There are “passion” squares as well marked by “kiss lips”.  These squares instruct the player to kiss their partner in a particular and specific way.  Of course the board has the usual “Lose A Turn” and “Move Back ___ Spaces” as one would expect with any board game.For my husband and I, who have been married for seven and a half years, this game was actually quite comical for us as we played.  It was simple and most of the instructions on the board would be considered light, non-threatening instructions.  This is a great game for a married couple that does not regularly communicate their feelings, desires, or dreams together.  Otherwise, a married couple may enjoy this game just to add some fun to their evening before they have sex.I personally feel that this game is better suited for a newlywed couple.  The majority of the instructions/questions on the board seem to be tailored to a couple that does not know each other very well.  I think it would be an excellent wedding or bridal shower gift!  It gives great opportunity for a new couple to learn about one another and to experience some non-threatening physical intimacy with their partner as well.Although the game has the “Penthouse” name, do not expect it to be a sexual game.  When my husband and I play it again, we will definitely have to make up some more rules to spice it up a bit; maybe choose an item of clothing that your partner must remove each time you land on a “kiss lips” square for example.  As I recommended above, it’s more fun too if you determine what each player receives if they win before you start the game.Since most people that are going to purchase this game are already married, I would rate this game three stars based on its simple and novice nature.  If a couple is looking for something to really turn the evening into a hot, sexy evening, they may want to consider a good game of strip poker or another romantic board game instead.
