Could it be? Porn made by a man, for women? And it's good?

Its creator, Martijn Broersma, calls it "Dusk", and it's a Dutch television erotic channel, based in Hilversum, Netherlands, claiming to be the first in Europe geared toward women. Broersma says that while he worked in the cable industry, he often heard complaints that there wasn't enough female-oriented porn on the market, so he sat down with a partner and began developing the channel, which features a range from hard-core lesbian bondage to soft focus romance.

“We call it 'porna', to give the idea that it’s porn made for women, something different from traditional porno,” said Broersma. But what sets this porn aside from mainstream porn, he says, are realism, respect and having storylines that go with the sex.

Broersma and his partner, Jennifer Lyon Bell, an American porn maker currently based in Amsterdam, were surprised to learn that men have begun to turn to porna, as well. Particularly men in relationships.

“I think a lot of men are fed up with traditional porn and they want to see something else. They are always interested to discover what women want to see,” says Broersma.
