Did you catch any of the graphic (and in some cases, violent) porn images flying through some folks' timelines on Facebook recently? Maybe you noticed a couple of images showing up in your own timeline? When's the last time you updated your browser?

Did you copy and paste anything into your address bar? You may have aided a bunch of hackers in a malicious attack on the ubiquitous social networking site.

Fortunately, Facebook has managed to remove most of the images from their site.

The company says it has figured out who the offending party is and will take legal action. And never fear! Anonymous did not spearhead this malicious campaign against the “family friendly” social networking site. But Facebook's not telling who did. Yet.

They have, however, released some tips so you can avoid falling into the same trap.

1. Never copy and paste unknown code into the address bar.
2. Always use an up-to-date browser.
3. Use the report links on Facebook to flag suspicious behavior or content on friends' accounts.

Or, you know, just don't use Facebook. Who wants to check in on what their cousin's uncle's friend's brother's next door neighbor Magee Markovitch is up to, anyway?
