Overview

Also known as Kinabuku ("bondage"), or Kinabuku-bi ("erotic/beautiful" bondage), Japanese rope bondage dates back hundreds of years to some of the darker days of feudal Japan. A great, soft rope that you won't regret buying. It holds up to consistent use, holds weight well, has the perfect length for all types of bondage, and is easy to use. The colors don't fade after time either. All-in-all, a great rope for the money.

I decided to give the Japanese bondage rope 5 stars because it is such a great product and a wonderful addition to anyones collection. The rope is very smooth which doesn't cause chafing making this an all around great experience and product. Great for a beginner to start experimenting with bondage without feeling overwhelmed or insecure.

If you want to use something nice but you're not ready to spend $40 on rope, this is an excellent choice. It may not be the best craftsmanship, but it has an excellent texture, it's extremely secure, it's beautiful and it's easy to clean. Although it took a lot of practice and even more patience, this rope has taken our bondage to a whole new level.

Doc Johnson's Japanese Bondage Rope is an excellent addition to one's toy chest, and can add a lot to one's play routine. I am not an advanced or frequent participant in BDSM activities but having this rope has filled my head with all sorts of naughty ideas. It is an iconic piece of BDSM play that is affordable and can really bring your sensory experience to a new level.

I don't have a point of comparison, but I really enjoyed this product. It appears to be high quality rope that will last a long time. I am not sure how to wash it, as the packaging did not have instructions. I plan to spend a lot of time with the rope, being tied and hopefully doing some of my own tying.

The rope is rather long so it has plenty of room to tie victim thoroughly but length gets in the way as well. Rope is soft and will hold up against tugging. Cleaning may be an issue. A nylon rope might feel even better than the cotton one but it works fine
