Indulge in a luxurious spa treatment without leaving the comforts of home. Everything about this is indulgent, from the luscious orange aroma to the restorative properties. It works perfectly to exfoliate and hydrate skin. It's gentle enough for the whole body, but particularly effective on trouble areas such as elbows, feet, knees, and legs. Give it a try. Your skin will thank you.

Pros:

Exfoliates and moisturizes skin, wonderful orange aroma, long lasting results.

Cons:

None.

Best use:

Soap isn't always enough for healthy glowing skin. Sure it removes dirt, but what about dead skin cells and excess oils? Soap doesn't always moisturize as well as we'd like, either. Sugar scrubs are used to remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and hydrate the skin. They help to keep skin healthy and glowing. With a scrub, skin is not just clean, it's radiant. It's a Slice Brown Sugar Scrub is a truly indulgent scrub that delivers healthy skin and leaves a fresh orange aroma.

After washing skin, apply a handful of brown sugar scrub and massage into the skin using circular motions. Pay extra attention to trouble spots like elbows and feet. It is gentle enough to use all over the body, including the face. Rinse with water to remove the scrub along with all the dead skin cells. Your skin will be left soft and moisturized.

It is also nice to use after shaving.

The ingredients are:
Turbinado (sugar), Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, theo broma cacao butter, phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Fragrance, and BHT

It does not include parabens, sodium choloride, phthalates, GMO's, mineral oil, petroleum, gluten and triclosan.
  • Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity:

Inside the container are orangish, coarse granules. They are obviously individual granules, but they clump together nicely. They spread easily on the body. It's best to do this in the tub so any stray pieces don't end up all over the bathroom floor. They feel very nice on the skin. The scrub massages in easily and stays in place until ready to be rinsed off.

Afterwards you will be amazed at the smooth texture of your own skin.

  • Taste / Aroma:

Imagine peeling a fresh juicy orange. Can you smell the aroma? That is how this scrub smells. It's fresh and tantalizing without any fake chemical odor whatsoever. The aroma fills the room when the jar is opened. You may be tempted to keep the lid off so you can enjoy the orange fragrance all the time.

The delicious orange scent is massaged into the skin. The scent remains for an hour or two after rinsing off the scrub. It's light and refreshing and may remind you to caress your soft skin. You may also want to eat a slice of a real orange afterwards; just don't eat this.

  • Performance:

This scrub performs magnificently. Any dry flaky skin is removed easily. The skin is soft and supple and perfectly hydrated. With continual use this could restore or maintain skin at very healthy levels.

  • Packaging:

The 21 oz. jar is larger than I expected it to be. It's too large to fit on my tub shelf. I have to be careful when using it in the shower because I don't have anywhere to set it down, and I don't want it to spill. I transfer enough for one use to a smaller container that fits on my shower shelf. There's no chance of accidents that way.

The jar itself is sturdy plastic, so there is no chance of it breaking. The lid screws on and off. It arrived with a protective layer of plastic on top.

The label is a pretty peach color. It would look fine displayed on a counter top, or it could be stored out of sight. You'll want to have easy access though. You'll be reaching for this often.

  • Experience:

I love, love, love this stuff. I tend to have very dry elbows. In the winter if I don't moisturize at least twice a day, they become rough enough to catch on clothing and become very uncomfortable. I think my search for the cure to my dry elbows is over. In just a week of use, both my elbows are smooth and nearly perfect. I imagine in a month I will have elbows as smooth as a baby's bum: If you ever saw my elbows, you would know that's a miracle.
