I have to admit, when I received this dildo I was a bit put off by the weight. It looks huge and I honestly thought it was aluminum. But no, it is glass, the weight feels good once you work it inside and it is a glass wand.I enjoyed putting it in ice water for cool play, warm water for a heated experience and thought about this being a perfect Christmas tree ornament. The bumpy pattern was VERY pleasant!! I like this for a dildo, but added a vibrating cock ring with a good bullet for more sensations.

The Shimmer is a metallic glass dildo that has a safety cord attached for ease of use.
