The Spur That Shagged Me
Well, I'm really glad I purchased the Spur, and if it ever gets destroyed in a tragic accident I will buy another one without hesitation. It sits proudly next to my bed and is my new silicone darling. If you like toys that are quite small and flexible, this one is for you. If you like them medium-large and firm? Best use:

For those who love Vixskin dildos but aren’t fond of their typically large size and girth, the Vixen Spur is the ideal choice. Its soft, flexible body and slightly tapered head make it easy and comfortable to insert both vaginally or anally. The large flared base allows the Spur to be used in an O-ring compatible harness. Whether on the bed or in the shower or bath, the Spur is a pleasing choice.

    The Spur is made of VixSkin, which is 100% silicone. It has no odor or taste, even right out of the box. It looks like, and feels close to, real skin. The material is soft and squishy, as well as a bit tacky to the touch. It feels particularly nice when covered with a water-based lubricant. The material retains body heat nicely during use.

    The head is amazingly soft, while just below the ridge the firmer core can be felt. The core adds some rigidity and makes the Spur easier to thrust with, but it doesn't make it inflexible or rigid. The surface is lightly textured with a few veins but the texture isn’t noticeable during use.

    The base is much firmer than the rest of the dildo, and won’t fold or bend.

    The Spur looks like a small penis and is a creamy caramel color. It’s 5 1/2” long overall with 4 3/4" insertable. The head is modeled like a circumcised penis and there is a pronounced ridge below the head before the shaft begins. The ridge is not uncomfortable during penetration or withdrawal since it’s above the Spur’s core and squishes down easily.

    The Spur is 1 1/4" in diameter and is this width down its entire length. Its base is 2 5/8” wide and about 1 1/4" thick. The join is seamless, and no noticeable seams are visible either on the dildo or its base.

    This is quite obviously a dildo but it is small enough to travel easily in either carry-on or checked luggage.

It’s easy to clean with soap and water, or it can be boiled in water for 3 minutes on the stove or run through the dishwasher in the top rack (don’t use dishwashing soap). The Spur should be cleaned both before and after use.

    This dildo can be stored in its packaging, which will help retain its shape. It can also be stored upright on a shelf or in a storage bag.

    Only water-based lubricants are safe to use.

    The Spur comes packaged in a clear tube with black end caps. It’s visible from all sides except the back. The Vixen Logo is on the front of the tube while information about VixSkin in general is printed on the back. The tube is just a bit wider than the base, and makes an ideal container in which to store the Spur and help retain its shape.

  • Experience:

    When this first arrived, I was amazed at how small it was. It’s awfully cute, and my initial thought was that it would be great for anal play. I love VixSkin, but all of the toys I have in it are too big for me to comfortably use anally (although they’re a dream vaginally).

    I tried this vaginally first, but it was a bit too small to do much for me. Anally, it excelled. It was easy to insert and wonderfully comfortable. Even though the head is rather pronounced, it’s super squishy there and not at all uncomfortable when thrusting. My husband loved the base on it, as it was large enough for him to grip comfortably and control. The Spur did fit in the wing and worked well that way also, although this is a toy that we prefer to use with hand control.

    I’m thrilled to have an anal toy out of VixSkin – I love how this material feels during use, and it’s fun to use in conjunction with a larger VixSkin dildo vaginally.
