Seamless, smooth and glossy, the Tease is made of 100% platinum cured silicone which is one of the safest and easiest to care for sex toy materials available. It has a very faint "factory clean" scent which dissipates with washing, and feels firm with just enough flexibility to provide some cushioning during use. Using only a drop or two of lubricant lets this toy slide over the skin with no friction whatsoever, but the slight friction that its dry surface creates can feel very nice on the clitoris too.
The bullet vibrator is made of smooth phthalates-free ABS plastic that has no scent at all. There is an embossed factory logo on one side, yet it doesn't provide enough texture to be noticed much if you are using the bullet by itself.
The Little Secret Tease is actually a two-part toy. It's a removable vibrator covered by a thick silicone sleeve in a contoured hour glass design with a thin tip that looks similar to a flame. The shape is great because it lets you get different sensations from different areas of the toy; using the bulged areas gives you vibrations spread out over a wide area, while the thin tip flickers and delivers them in a pinpoint spot.
As shown in the photo below, the bullet is around 3.5" long, longer than a standard bullet vibrator, which gives you more to hold on to if you choose to use it alone. It too tapers for pinpoint vibrations or can be laid on its side to please a wider area.
Since the overall length of the toy is only 4.5", there is only about 3" to work with for vaginal insertion but the size is very convenient for couples to use between them during foreplay and extremely easy to hide or travel with.
The single-speed vibrator takes an N-1 battery (included) and is controlled by a push button. This button requires a very firm push to activate and there is sometimes a brief delay before the toy actually turns on.
While the bullet alone is fairly strong at the tip, the toy doesn't deliver very strong vibrations overall with the sleeve in place. The bulge closest to the push button has extremely mild vibrations suitable for the most sensitive clits. The one nearest the tip gives a moderate level of vibration that would please the average user, while the tip is a bit stronger provided that you don't push too hard and hamper the flickering motion. The vibrations are more the high-frequency variety that will especially thrill users who like tingling sensations more than rumbling ones.
The Tease is quiet enough that little more than a low hum can be heard, and it can be fully submerged in water for extended periods of time.
Both the vibrating bullet and the silicone sleeve can be washed with soap and water, but if you want to further sanitize the sleeve by itself you have a few extra options. You can put it in the dishwasher, wipe it with a 10% bleach solution, or drop it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes.
The Tantus Tease is compatible with any water-based lubricants. Silicone-based lubricants may damage the surface of silicone sex toys.
The toy comes packaged in a small disposable plastic bag with a thin cardboard top. Since this obviously can't be used for storage, we suggest using a toy pouch or even a sandwich bag just to keep the Tease from collecting lint or coming in contact with materials that may harm it. There are no instructions, but the toy is rather self-explanatory anyway.
There is a small disc of paper inside the battery compartment that keeps the vibrator from being turned on during shipping, which you have to remove before you can use it.
Removing the bullet is pretty tough the first time, and we found that a combination of squeezing the tip and peeling the open end of the sleeve helped. One you get it out, smearing a thin coat of lube inside of the sleeve makes it *much* easier the next time.
We also found that even those smaller standard-sized bullets fit very well in this toy and the vibrations still travel through the silicone all the way to the tip.
Even though I'm not entirely thrilled about owning too many toys that take these N-sized batteries since they're expensive here, I can't say I dislike the toy. Like every other Tantus item we've got I have no doubt that the silicone sleeve is going to last for years. I don't care for the feeling of the flicker tip much but the sides are great especially for helping relax the anal muscles. That's externally folks, externally. Because this little bugger could easily get lost up the back passage.
I love this gorgeous lime green color and the fact that it's the kind of toy that we can take out with us. We just lost one of our glove box toys so what a sweet replacement! It's not really strong enough to get me off and the tip doesn't do anything at all if you push hard, which I tend to do when I'm getting close. BUT it *is* arousing though, so I'd say that "Tease" is a very good name for this toy.
