La Vibra is unique: it is made of stone, a material composed of natural minerals. It has no smell or taste. This vibrator has the look of polished marble or granite, although the actual stone used is unknown.
Whether or not a sealant or coating covers the stone or it is simply highly polished, La Vibra is shiny and smooth to the touch. The ribbed texture is gentle and gradual, and the spacing between the ribs allows for smooth ripples along the surface. The texture adds light stimulation when La Vibra is inserted.
The black base is made of plastic, and the vibrator contained within the stone sheath is plastic as well.

This vibrator is beige with darker brown coloring and flecks all over. The coloring is lovely, natural, and very earthy.
La Vibra weighs in at 11 ounces, and feels solid. It is 8 1/4" long, with 7” insertable. La Vibra has a wide ribbed pattern, with 5 ribs down its shaft below the head. The head is 1 3/4" at its widest and about 1 1/4" long. Below the head, there are 5 ribs, or bulges, including the bottom one. These are spaced about 1 1/4" apart and gradually narrow in to about 1 1/2" before peaking back at 1 3/4". This is not a slim vibrator, and will best be enjoyed by those seeking some girth to their toys.
The base extends 1 1/4" from the bottom of La Vibra and is made of black plastic. It unscrews to reveal the plastic vibrator enclosed in the stone sheath. An O-ring is present at the bottom of the threads. The vibrator looks to be firmly attached to the sheath, which is about 1/4" thick at the bottom.
A 3 1/2" white battery tray pulls out to insert 2 AAA batteries. The battery direction is clearly indicated on the tray, and the batteries are easy to snap in and pop out. The tray should be reinserted with the positive ends of the batteries going in first.
La Vibra’s base needs to be firmly screwed on or the vibrator won’t turn on. If the vibrator doesn't work, give the base a little extra twist to make sure it is secure and try again.

Functions / Performance / Controls:
La Vibra is a multi-speed multi-function vibrator. Two push buttons are on the bottom of the base. The smaller, horizontal button is a dedicated on/off button and labeled as such, while the larger vertical button is labeled “7” and cycles between the functions. The buttons are different enough in size and placement that La Vibra’s vibrations can be changed by touch without mistaking the function button for the power button.
Next to the buttons is a LED light that changes color and flashes according to the power and speed La Vibra is on.
La Vibra features the following patterns:
- low, steady buzz (green light)
- medium, steady buzz (orange light)
- high, steady buzz (red light)
- steady vibrations that increase from low to high over about 5 seconds, then repeats
- slow pulse
- faster pulse
- 3 short pulses followed by one long pulse
The vibrations are concentrated mostly in the tip and weaken considerably about 1/2 way down the shaft. They can barely be felt at the bottom. The medium and high vibration patterns work wonderfully for external use on the clitoris, while the other patterns can be felt nicely internally, although they are not extremely strong.
Even though there is an O-ring under the threads on the vibrator, the box does not indicate that La Vibra is waterproof.
La Vibra is surprisingly quiet. Since the vibrator is firmly seated in the stone sheath, the vibrations can be felt but barely heard. It’s not as loud as a cell-phone on vibrate, and it can’t be heard from about 3 feet away with the television volume down low.

Care and Maintenance:
La Vibra is easy to care for. It can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and warm water or a toy cleaner can be used. It should be stored on its pillow inside the tin it comes in.
La Vibra should always be checked for any cracking or chipping and should not be used if any flaws are found.
Both water-based and silicone lubricants are safe to use with this vibrator. Only a little lube is necessary to make La Vibra slick and ready for use.

Packaging:
La Vibra comes in a gray metal tin that measures 8” x 5” x 2 1/2". The tin has the Diamonds Lovetoys logo on the top and side. The lid lifts off, and below a piece of foam La Vibra rests on a maroon satin pillow filled with Styrofoam pellets to cushion it while in the box.

La Vibra comes with no information as to the exact material, or if it is coated or merely polished to shine. It feels and looks like polished marble or granite, but I’m not sure what it is. I was unable to find any more information about it online.
The vibrator is very firmly seated inside the marble sheath, and the O-ring makes me think it is waterproof, but I’m not sure if water would be able to get into the battery compartment or not. This isn’t something I’d really use in the shower or tub, but rather in bed.
The base of the vibrator is long enough that it’s easy to grasp when thrusting without worrying about hitting the buttons on the bottom. It doesn’t have a g-spot tip, but because it’s hard I can angle it up to hit and rock against my g-spot.

Experience:
I tried La Vibra alone at first. I really liked the size and found that I could feel the ripples, even though they are gentle and smooth. I had no problems changing the vibration patterns by touch, and I was able to hold the base without covering the bottom. While La Vibra is a traditional shape, I found I could angle it a bit to hit my g-spot and rock it against the area. While the vibrations don't travel all the way down the shaft, they were pleasant, if not exceptionally strong.
I was able to thrust this fairly hard without problem, so I turned it over to my husband to use on me during a foreplay session. He thrusts a bit harder than I do, and I had to tell him to slow down a few times. It didn’t exactly hurt, but it was more uncomfortable with his hand guiding it, especially when he got at the wrong angle.
La Vibra is an unusual vibrator made of stone. Its pleasing length and girth with a gently rippled shaft, create a toy that is both beautiful and functional. The vibrations are concentrated mostly in the tip but are gently pleasing both internally and externally. Separate buttons for power and vibration pattern can be changed by touch, and are not overly sensitive to being mispressed. This is a lovely and well-made vibrator.
