This lotion is rather thick and rich. It's creamy and spreads very nicely. Even after rubbing it in, it does take a while to dry, so to speak. The end result is a bit of an oily/waxy feeling for a few minutes. However, it does a very good job of moisturizing the skin. The lotion comes in a 12 oz. pump bottle. You do have to rotate the pump nozzle to the right to dispense the lotion. A simple twist back to the left and the bottle is locked again, making this a great bottle for travel.
This fragrant lotion has a lovely sweet melon scent. It is not overly aggressive to the nose, but rather fresh and pleasant. The scent does lessen, becoming less noticeable after five minutes or so. This is an important consideration if you like to wear perfume and worry about clashing aromas.
I was a bit hesitant to apply this scented lotion to freshly shaved legs. I've had very bad reactions in the past with scented products. I'm happy to report this was not the case with this EOS lotion. I applied it directly after a shower, to freshly shaved legs with open pores, and had no problem. Applying lotion after a shower or bath is most beneficial. Pores open with hot water or steam and are in essence prepped to receive moisture. After the one application my legs were moisturized for the entire day. As I wash my hands often, reapplying is a necessity, as with any lotion.
Below is a list of some of the moisturizing ingredients found in EOS refresh lotion.
Vitamins C and E.
I really enjoy the scent and feel of this lotion. I have no doubt in its moisturizing properties.
