The control on the top is very easily used with only a fingertip.As my husband and I began to test it out, we found the control quick to use between the three different speeds: low, high and pulsating. At its highest speed, it was at least three bees, not extremely loud. The pulsation rated about the same. The massager rated about a four vrooms.
