The Perfection 7x Dolphin Vibe comes in its own (rather large) purple case that has a small handle on top and fits the vibrator and the charger.Yes, you heard that right. And it's one of my favorite features, the fact that this vibe charges with a plastic-on-plastic charger. It's actually kinda fun, because the vibe sits right on top of the charger pedestal like a trophy. I took it out (already charged up, thanks edenfantasys!) and started laughing because the shaft looks like a naked mole rat wearing a tie while the clitoral stimulator looks like the namesake, a dolphin.I've never used a rabbit vibrator because I'm one of those lesbians who really isn't into the penetration thing because I tend to associate it with penises and heterosexual sex. Now, while I'm working on changing my viewpoint, I've never really used a lot of penetrative toys because I like vibration and attention to my clit. So when I got over my giggles, I was both a little intimidated and excited to try it out.Well, I kind of wish it came with a manual. I figured out that the left hand buttons controlled the bullet that is inside the clitoral stimulator and the g-spot bullet (behind the "tie"). The buttons on the right hand side control the rotation of the shaft (which rotates clockwise and counter clockwise depending on which function setting you have it on). There is a button in the center, below the other buttons with an "F" on it. When you turn on either the vibrations, rotations or both, the function button brings you through 7 different settings and you can set the strengths with the right or left hand buttons I mentioned previously. Also, when you shut it off and turn it on later, it remembers which one you left off on which is a little handy.Now I know this sounds like a daunting task, but it's not too bad and it's nice to play with the settings to see what surprises you find. It also has two strips of lights on the sides of the vibe and rotation control buttons which kind of blinks with the function patterns.So down to practical use. One, the vibration isn't too loud, but you can hear it if there's no noise going on (I turn on my fan because I have roommates and it's fine... About 3 bees, I'd say). Two, the rotating shaft *is* noisy (a full 5 bees). Like, I didn't want to use it because it was so loud. Three, the shaft is probably ok for people who have penetrative sex or have a wider vagina, but it was a tight squeeze for me and I didn't really like it. I put it in enough so that the clit vibrator hit my clit, but it just didn't do anything. The "nose" of the dolphin just doesn't have enough surface area for my clit. I actually took to just laying that bullet on my clit and using it that way, without penetration.The first general vibe setting is fine, but I found that you get stronger vibrations using the other function settings. I'd say 1-2 vrooms on regular setting, 4-5 vrooms on the function settings. I like to turn the vibe on low while I watch porn or read erotica or otherwise stimulate myself, so I was disappointed when I finally was ready to get down to things and the vibe shut off. This also happened when I trying penetration and used the rotating shaft. At first, I thought the space inside was too tight and I was burning out the motor by not letting it have its full range of motion. It could be that that is true, but I experimented a bit and I think it's just that the battery was dying. Here's another time a manual would've come in handy because I had no clue how long to charge it. I tried an hour and used it and it died shortly thereafter. I tried longer and again it died. So, frustrated, I plugged it in before I went to sleep and it lasted awhile the next time I tried it, but still just not enough for me.Overall, I would recommend it maybe to those who have a little experience with this kind of vibe and are familiar with how their bodies react, but definitely not to a beginner. Pros for this sex toy are the fact that you can recharge (even though it didn't live up to my expectations as far as battery life), it has its own case, the different patterns and speeds are fun to experiment with, and it's fairly quiet. Cons are the first, general setting for the vibe is sort of weak, the animal shaft weirded me out, and it's a little hard to navigate sometimes, as well as it just didn't do much for me... I could get a $10 bullet toy that would've done the same thing.
