It compromises the natural lining of the rectum and can irritate or damage those tissues, making you more susceptible to HIV and other STIs. That can happen with any regular douching, but especially in a product where an unlimited amount of water and a high pressure of water is available. Please be careful on this one! As an HIV prevention specialist, I wouldn't recommend it.

Is the pressure on this down-regulated enough to not be dangerous??? Unlimited water flow into the colon strikes me as possibly having some not-so-good issues. Plus you are filling up with chlorinated tap water. Again...what about mucus and indeed electrolyte loss????

Well the hose needs to be longer to meet the needs. its not a bad product, but does not penetrate deep enough to reach he inner pockets of the anal passageway. it is great, but not great enough for those whom are anal about their anal cleanliness.

The instructions were too brief so I'll supplement them here.

I think the cord could be short for some people. I'm a tall male so it's fine for me. The hose itself is 46" which sounds like a lot but remember this is metal. You have to keep in mind that it cannot bend at 90 degree angles which consumes length when you're trying to enter.

The dong has about 20-25 holes in it throughout the body. It has at least 5 holes near the tip and the rest are distributed throughout the body. The non-tip holes all shoot perpendicular to the cord (i.e. shoot straight out).

I advise using lukewarm water. The package includes some washers but I didn't bother with them. It was a close enough fit that it didn't matter.

Make sure you don't use too much water at first. Take a look at the traditional squeeze type and notice it doesn't hold much water. While you're using the dong, it doesn't seem like much water is getting trapped but it definitely does.

For first time users, I would use it for 3-5 seconds and then use the bathroom. You will immediately start gushing out water along with feces.

If you reinsert in the shower before using the toilet, you'll release into the shower which is a huge mess. I wonder if the other reviewer accidentally did this.

There should be large ring so you know when it's in all the way.

As a first time user, the feeling was very intense but not completely pleasurable. It was strange losing control when you sit on the toilet. I think it will feel more normal over time and I'm certainly looking forward to using it again.
