All five of the sample products had a very rich, creamy, thick texture to them. When you pour any of these products into your hand, they stay in place until you are ready to rub them into your skin. The only product that felt at all greasy was the Cattiva Diva hand cream and that was because I put too much of it on my hand at first.

What amazed me was how little you need to use of each product, including the shampoo. I started with a pea size amount and added about half again as much when I lathered up my hair the first time. While I do have short hair, it spread all the way through my hair and did a very good job with cleaning it. When I lathered up a second time, there were several places where you could could almost feel the hair and scalp squeak because they were so clean already.

With each product, I started with a pea sized amount to see how much it would do. Here is what a found out:

Shampoo: I probably could have gotten away with using a pea sized amount the first time but for the second lathering, a pea size amount was perfect.

Conditioner: I only used a pea sized amount and it spread all the way through my hair although my hair was already feeling soft from the shampoo. Once again, I do have short (chin length) hair.

Body Wash: I was testing their soap for another review on one side of my body and the body wash on the other side of my body. A pea size amount did all of one side of the top of my torso and part of my leg. I wound up using about two pea size amounts because I wanted to go back over my torso a second time since it felt so good and wasn't using a sugar scrub, like I normally do.

Whipped Body Lotion: I used two pea size amounts for my body. One portion did both of my arms and part of my torso. The second amount did my legs and knees, which were extremely dry.

Hand Cream: My mistake was in putting a pea size amount in my hand. I should have used 1/3-1/2 of that amount. With that said, it did a great job of moisturizing my hands and going up to my elbows to try and use up the excess.

I have mixed feelings about the scents of this product. My preferences lean towards light, airy, and fruity fragrances. However, these scents have a "Victorian" feeling to them. The scents are very flower-oriented and soft, and strong also. Do I have you confused yet?

When I was showering with the hair and bath products, my husband could smell them as soon as he walked into our bedroom, in spite of the fact that our bedroom door is about 12' away from our bathroom. However, what he smelled was a light, powdery flowery scent that was flowing through the room. I was concerned that he might find it overpowering and have problems with it, because he often has problems with scented products. However, he said that the scent was "somewhat nice" and reminded him of something his grandmother might wear.

About three hours after showering, I walked back into the bedroom. Since we keep our door closed, the moment I entered the room, I noticed that the scent still lightly lingered in the air, especially the closer that I got to the bathroom.

I recommend that, if you are going to use these products, you consider getting several items in the same fragrance and layering them rather than trying to use these items with another fragrance and possibly having them clash.

The hair products are amazing. When I first lathered up with the shampoo, I felt like I had not used enough and added a bit more into my hair and continued shampooing. After I rinsed out the shampoo and started to lather again, I was amazed at how squeaky clean my hair and scalp felt. I've never felt like that after lathering up my thick hair only one time.

I almost didn't use the conditioner because my hair already felt soft after using the shampoo. My hair is color-treated and I am not used to it feeling soft without adding some sort of conditioner.

Now that my hair is dry, it is very soft and feels lighter and fluffier. I guess I might use the term "more volume" to describe my hair.

When I opened the body wash and started to squeeze some out, I was amazed at the adorable pink coloring of the product. It felt very good going on my body and, when I got out of the shower and had my husband feel my arm, he too was impressed by how soft that side of my body was.

Both the body lotion and hand cream were very thick, rich, and worked very well.

Now, several hours later, my skin still feels smooth and soft and I can still catch whiffs of the fragrance from time to time.

Principessa Beauty did a great job of not only creating a combination of products that would give you an idea of the quality of their luxurious products, but they also created a high quality gift box that you can use even after the products are gone.

The paperboard box is 5" wide and 7.25" long and 2.5" deep. The Principessa Beauty logo is printed directly onto the pink box on both sides. From the pink ribbon on the handle to the handle itself to the products inside, this whole package says "quality" from the moment you lay your eyes and hands on it.

When I saw this product in person, my first thought was "Mary Kay Pink" from the late 1980's. I remember reading that one of the reasons Mary Kay went with that pink color was because when her products were first created, most bathrooms were white and pink products would show up and look pretty in a bathroom.

I was wondering why Principessa Beauty chose the color pink, so I spent some time browsing their website. As it turns out, they have a page which is devoted to discussing the "Psychology behind the color pink". They talked about how pink is often associated with sensitive hearts and frequently is also associated with caring and sharing and even having a strong personality. They also talked about its tranquilizing effects on people.

As I read their page and saw why they picked the pink color for their packaging, I realized that they made an excellent choice. For those who love flowery or powdery scents, these products will be very restful and relaxing.
